Mbye has never shown anything at hooker. Why does he get chance after chance?

Mbye really cops it and I get it from the perspective of Mbye being a marquee player. The thing is we are paying him anyway.

I can completely understand having him in the team though. He is a decent option at hooker, in the halves, in the centres, at fullback and at lock. On top of that his defense is pretty good and he works hard.

He also has performed for us all season at his relatively average level. He hasn't really made any glaring mistakes. Simpkin for instance has made some glaring mistakes.

He isn't really even getting chance after chance. There is a lot to like about Mbye as a squad member.

The problem is that he is being paid as our marquee player but there is no way the club will renew his contract.

What the hell did Stefano do wrong to be dropped? He's been excellent this year

Why the hell would you swap Mbye and Doueihi?

Madden on the bench doesn't make sense to me either. He's an out and out halfback, what use is he on the bench? He's not a hooker and taking brooks off 60 minutes into a game would be stupid too

The only thing i can think is seyfarth offers energy and line speed . And he’s very vocal in the defensive line . Watch him , he’s always pointing out plays , calling his man , calling numbers across etc. he seems like a high IQ type player .

Stefano has been good all year, consistent and high work rate. Seyfarth over him is a nut job selection.

I really like Stefano. He'd be one of the first props picked to me. I'm starting to like Seyfarth. He gets smashed sometimes but he is big, mobile, he can pass the ball plus he works really hard.

I don't see it as Seyfarth over Stefano but Tamou and Twal over Stefano. Stefano deserves his spot ahead of both of those guys.

Seyfarth was also one of three players back to stop that certain titans try . He’s all effort and effort plays like that is what the coach is trying to drill into the players

I get the feeling Madge is going to drop Brooks, play Madden at 7 next to a senior player in M'Bye for a bit of guidance (as ridiculous as it sounds) and bring Simpkin back to the bench.

maybe he doesn't want to draw attention to the fact that the tigers will have a new #7 and all the pressure that comes with it in the press, and will make it official an hour before kickoff. Once Madden is accustomed to first grade, we'll see Doueihi back to 6 and M'Bye back to the bench.

I hope we practice tackling this week because it sure as hell doesn’t look like we did any practice in the off season.

Doueihi still played well, a lot better than Mbye and brooks that's for sure. Shifting him to centre has no purpose.

Doueihi single handedly got us back into that game. If he had been playing centre the margin would have been 24 points. Moving him is ludacris.

I agree but we have no centres or wingers left it’s either Mbye or Douihei at centre. Not sure we have a winger in the top 30 to cover.
