When the Brisbane Broncos run onto Suncorp Stadium to play the Gold Coast Titans on Saturday, June 7, fans won’t see the typical maroon jersey synonymous with the Club.

Instead, the team will be wearing the ‘Black Jersey’, shorts and socks, to make a powerful statement for the Club’s dedicated Mental Health Round.


The unique concept aims to shine a light on mental health, and the current research which shows almost half of all Australians will experience mental illness in their lifetime.

The jersey was designed in collaboration with Broncos Charity Partner, Black Dog Institute, and the Broncos will make a major financial donation from the proceeds of the jersey to the organisation.

Additionally, proceeds from the 50-50 Charity Raffle at Saturday's game will go towards Black Dog Institute.
