Ivan thinks (knows?) the public is stupid.
Odd that the trainer didn't run in front of Cleary while he was kicking. He would have been sacked if he made such an "honest mistake". But it's no problem for Ivan to have the cheating trainer run in front of an opposition kicker, just before a crucial kick that could have damaged their top 4 hopes.
Ref and bunker were culpable here. That had to be a possible 8-point try with a penalty goal in front. $50k compared with a top 4 spot for a wealthy club like the Panthers is diddly squat. nce the ref and bunker didn't do their jobs, Panthers needed to be docked 2 comp points.
