RD 24 Results? What works out best for us?

The Friday Night games we will obviously be cheering on the Knights to beat the Broncos and Souths to beat the Panthers

Who do we want to win out of the Warriors and Manly?

The minor premiership looks out of our reach so would want the Dragons to put the Raiders to bed

Titans and Roosters is an interesting game. Who do we want to win considering we play the Titans last round?

Finally the Tigers to smash the Eels and almost secure a Top 4 spot

Going to be an interesting round either way. Hopefully a few teams around us cop a flogging to stuff up their for and against

Any stats people out there know what is our best and worse position on the ladder at the completion of Round 24?

I was thinking along the same lines

The Roosters gave us a dust up twice this year when they weren't playing as wall as the have been of late. Last week against Cronulla even though they lost, the still looked dangerous. My vote is for the Titans to win as their +/- is very close to ours so we may be able to leap frog them for a spot.

The Manky / Warriors game is much harder - I'd rather we play the Warriors in the Semis…. (Ps Not a Typo)
 
TD , I still feel that we are still in for a chance on the Minor Premiership….so Canberra to beat the Dragons in Canberra where Saints haven’t won there in 10 years. WT need to win their 3 games and Saints lose their remaining 3 games and the MP is ours.
Knights to beat Broncos, as we have a good record against Newcastle and I want them in the lower part of the 8
Sea Eagles will beat the Warriors and one of them will go on 28pt.
I want Souths to beat the Panthers, as they deserve to be in the 8 , and I would love to see a Tigers Vs Souths Grand Final as I would win $3,000 or Saints Vs Tigers GF where I would win $1,700.
Roosters to beat the Titans so we can be outright 2nd after we beat Parramatta.
 
Id be surprised if the Dragons lost to both the Knights and Bunnies. We are playing for one of the other home finals IMO. Hopefully we can wrap up a top 4 spot before our trip up to the Gold Goast. It's good to have our destiny in our own hands and hopefully we can take advantage of that.

Would like to see Souths win as well but Penrith at home are always difficult to beat and with Souths injury toll would be surprised if they get up. Another reason why Souths winning is important is because of Penriths run home with the Bulldogs and Sharks still to come
I think we may get done by the Eels and Roosters to beat the Titans. So depending on our F/A think we will be sitting in 4th or 5th at the completion of the round.

Hope by Sunday afternoon I can look back at this and wonder what the hell i was thinking and the Tigers will be sitting in second spot

Manly v Roosters next week will be a very interesting game as well. Hopefully a few of the teams out of contention particularly the Bulldogs and Sharks can help us out over the last 2 weeks

My Final Top 8 is:

Dragons 40
Tigers 34
Panthers 32
Titans 32
Rooters 32
Manly 30
Warriors 30

With us playing the Warriors at a FULL Campbelltown and getting the Week Off…
 
I hope you are right but i think we will finish between 3rd-6th. Going to be an exciting last round either way. There is every chance we could play the Titans at Skilled 2 weeks in a row like the Dragons and Parra last year.
 
I think the Panthers will slide out of the 4 tbh… I think their season is shot.

Expecting a top 4 consisting of the Dragons, Tigers, Titans and Roosters.

I really think those are the only 4 sides with a shot this season as well.... the bottom 4 of the eight I think won't stay in the finals series too long...

To answer the original question... we want the warriors to loose, they'll be easy-beats in a finals game imo and we want them in the lower part of the eight so we can smash them in a home semi!

No… Liechhardt doesnt sound anything like Campbelltown...

We beat them there this year by 40 I think...

Personally, I believe the game will be at the SFS...

still waaaay to far ahead for my liking....beating Parra is all that Matta's.....

PS if Watto is correct it will be at the WestsSFS....2v7 ....isnt that the Friday night game week 1...Rooters would be playing the TIT's at Robina...

I'd prefer:

- Manly to beat Warriors (Warriors would be a good side to face off the first week of finals.)
- Raiders to snipe the Dragons (Raiders have awesome record against them, and if they did make the finals, we've got a pretty good record against them… Probably why Daley hates us so much... also keeps us in contention for the Minor Premiership.)
- Schoolies to knock off the Cocks (Gold Coast are a myth, they're a solid team but no X-factor and come finals time they will be easily beaten. I always enjoy watching Easts lose as well.)
- Tigers to smash the River Snakes. NSW health system will go into meltdown overnight as Parra supporters statewide are hospitalised for concussions after falling head first off the bandwagon.

As they say, a weeks a long time in RL….2 weeks I guess is twice as long :neutral_face:
 
Well us beating Parra would be best for us

But I will be cheering for the Bunnies, Knights, Manly (and I feel sick in the stomach just saying that) and the Titans. Which would pretty much guarantee us a top 4 spot this weekend.

Then a win against the Storm will seal that deal and we can all have a relaxing Round 26 :slight_smile:

All this conjecture is useless unless we keep Winning.

The Next three games are All winnable IMO.
