I'll be one fan who won't be giving them hell. I applaud Coach Bellamey and his players on how they've managed to continue to turn up every week amidst the drama that has surrounded their season. The club's hierarchy have cheated the game and their own personnel. I'll boo them as an opposition team, but I won't scoop to the level of Parramatta, Canberra and NZ fans this year who have labelled the players as cheats and have insulted them by flashing money at them. I guess I am one of a minority on here though that holds that opinion. Each to their own.

For the past two months not one person in the media with the exception of Peter Peters has had the fortitude to implicate the players in this fraudulent and deceitful episode, when on the balance of probabilities it's VERY CLEAR that they're implicated up to their cheating eyeballs. These players would have to have to have the brains of a stale lettuce not to understand the reasons for signing two contracts, with different numbers, for the same end purpose. Even David Gallop, usually the most circumspect of people in matters like these, is very adamant the players were completely aware of the position.

The media need to be criticised heavily for their lack of professionalism in this whole sordid matter. Rather than pursue the truth and ask the relevant and direct questions, they have been accessories in an orchestrated PR campaign, a campaign designed to 'perfume' these players. Well, the stench is overwhelming and it will stick well beyond this season. I hope they're reminded every 15 seconds at Leichhardt of how their greed and arrogance is viewed in this neck of the woods

Yes I also agree…naive was the word that came to my mind too.
They (storm club, officials and players) have cheated the NRL, the other clubs, its players, their fans....you and me.
