LIVE GAME Rd. 6 NRL discussion *Spoilers*

Live Game Discussion
The Warriors were a team inspired tonight. Haven’t seen aggressive D like that for a long time. Storm were bullied into mistake after mistake. Absolutely zero respect for any Storm player from the Warriors who were delighting in smashing them in D and running over them in A. Not sure any team would have stood up to them tonight. Hope our boys were watching that!!

The disruptor rule has become an absolute joke. So far we have seen players penalised for challenging for the ball with 2 hands which the rule says you must do and trys being scored from 1 handed bat backs which the rule says you cant do but can sometimes do if its a fair challenge whatever the hell that means. Mark alphabet gets away with one handed bat backs every game while others get penalised. WTF.

Isn't that just so surprising.

Melbourne have really lost their mojo.
I wonder if Slater is less involved or something.

I think the only predictable results from round 6 is the Dragons loosing and Canberra beating Souths!

Seriously it must be weird being a Canberra fan looking at Jack Wighton... Unsure if they would want him back.

I know Melb won the comp in 2020 and a couple of grand finals since but I feel like they haven't adapted to the ruck changes.

They're still hell bent on wrestling and slowing down the ruck instead of making your tackle and quickly going to marker.

They're using their energy to wrestle and slow down ruck instead of focusing on line speed and support play.

They're clearly fit enough, I feel like they're slightly wrongly coached at the moment.

I can't see them down for too long. They have all the attributes.

This type of season from the storm has been a long time coming. Credit to them, I thought it would happen a heck of a lot earlier though..I think we will start to see the likes of Munster and Bellamy fade off into the sunset soon

I’m not writing them off completely, but I think they’re a 7-8th team at best

Tbh I don't think there forward pack is good enough. But your tight about the wrestling. They struggle to put the player down and that sapps energy. They need to do what the Warriors did last night. Hard front on contact and drive back instead.of absorbing and wrestling over 3-4m while slowing the play down.

Canberra beating Souths was predictable? We should have spoken before I tipped the myxamitosis lot. I think I am 1 for so far.
well it's the only result other then Dragons loosing that I think people could have predicted.

I know Canberra have been not as strong against Souths, but I consider it a result people could have picked. Chooks vs Sharks perhaps is another. .. The rest, no way.
