I kept switching to the AFL last night, with the channel nine Chooks commentary team on deck it became a painful exercise. Gould should be barred from Penrith and Chook games, SBW should be banned full stop and take Johns with him.

Slater is okay, but did note, when Gus said something about Harry’s time at the Tigers was great for him, Billy could not get in quick enough to basically say it was Cam Smith who did all the work in Harry’s development.

I don't think there's any doubt he has a larger vocabulary than the average league colour commentator. Yes, he does point out the obvious sometimes, but not every viewer has the same level of knowledge.

Yeah Grant is a freak... can't remember a guy going so well so early into his career for a long time. I don't think Simpkin will stand out today tough game for him and Souths would've done their research on him. Hopefully he gets some room to run
