My hopes for 2018:
\
\
1\. Lolohea
2\. Nofo
3\. Hopoate
4\. Suli
5\. Johnston/Edwards
6\. Reynolds
7\. Brooks
8\. Matulino
9\. McIlwrick
10\. Packer
11\. McQueen
12\. CHN (GK)
13\. ET ©

14\. Liddle
15\. Lawrence (vc)
16\. Paasi
17\. Aloiai/Sue/Twal

If we sign Hopoate, it could provide some consistency and experience in defense on Nofo's side and some pace on the wing with the likes of Johnston. The team doesn't look too spectacular in terms of the calibre of talent that was available but it is solid, and I am happy with it if this is how it works out.

That team is amazing, the bench needs improvement but the starting 13 :righton:

I honestly can't see any faults and if we sign those players then we are a genuine top 4 side.

Best side i've seen yet, i would be very happy and confident ( haven't been for the past 5 years) if that side ran out in round 1 2018

At this stage?

1\. Lolohea
2.
3\. Fonua
4\. Suli
5\. Nofoaluma
6\. Reynolds
7\. Brooks
8\. Matulino
9\. McIllwrick
10\. Packer
11\. McQueen
12\. Lawrence
13\. Taylor

14\. Sue
15\. Liddle
16.
17.

1\. Lolohea
2\. Nofoaluma
3\. Ferguson
4\. Suli
5\. Johnston
6\. Reynolds
7\. Brooks
8\. Packer
9\. Mcilwrick
10\. Matulino
11\. McQueen
12\. B.Thompson
13\. Taylor

14\. Aloiai
15\. Passi
16\. Lawrence
17\. Liddle

Not realistic but I'd like to see this team:

1\. Tuimoala Lolohea (I'd prefer others but looks like this is gonna happen)
2\. David Nofoaluma
3\. Moses Suli (on the right)
4\. Tim Lafai (on the left)
5\. Kato Ottio (big, fast, cheap)
6\. Josh Reynolds
7\. Luke Brooks
8\. Ben Matulino
9\. Jacob Liddle
10\. Russell Packer
11\. Chris McQueen
12\. Adam Elliott
13\. Elijah Taylor

14\. Matt McIlwrick
15\. Esan Marsters
16\. Agnatius Paasi
17\. Alex Twal

Liddle to start and finish the game while he's got Matulino and Packer to help out in the middle, leaving him more energy to spark the attack. McIlwrick to spell Liddle and improve the defense in the middle while Paasi and Marsters (weak defenders) come on as impact players. Twal is also a solid defender through the middle period of the game when we tend to lapse. Marsters offers cover for the backs off the bench.

I've noticed some people putting Reynolds at Hooker.
I wouldn't do it in 2018 as we need his experience at 5/8….But a friend who's mad Bulldogs once told me Reynolds would have the potential to be one of the best DH players in the comp.
His running and passing game would suit the middle more than the edge. He's great at backing up. From next year onwards we are going to have two really good props who can offload. Reynolds would be a creative DH making to most off the opportunities from our front row.
Next year we needs his direction from 5/8\. But I wouldn't rule out a DH role for him in the future.

More likely to be Founa then Lafai.

Parker's offloads this year have been 1st class for St George we are going to need someone sniffing around him next year. Reynolds maybe for the first 20 minutes then Liddel.

So at this point we are looking at something like this:

1\. Lolohea
2\. Nofoaluma
3\. Suli
4\. Watene-Zelezniak
5\. Fonua
6\. Reynolds
7\. Brooks
8\. Packer
9\. Mcilwrick
10\. Matulino
11\. Mcqueen
12\. Lawerence
13\. Taylor

14\. Liddle
15\. Sue
16\. Aiolai
17\. Tawal/Felise/ Marsters

Taking into consideration that we can't have a superstar in every position, I still think we need a strike centre and a hard running edge backrower. We also need one of Tawal, Feleise or Tatola to come off as an impact prop sooner rather than later.

It can't all happen in one go, and a team is usually built over 2 years soo im hoping with more players coming off contract next season, we can nab one or two more quality players to round out our team.

1.Tedesco

4.Idris
5.Jacobs
6.Moses
7.Mccrone
8.Woods
9.Mcilwrick
10.D.Fifita
11.Mcqueen
12.Sue
13.Taylor

14.Seumanufagai
15.Aloiai
16.Paseka
17.Liddle

It's probably a bit too early for this, since it is only round 5, but I think we are going to see quite a few changes in the team by round 1 next year. Especially with a new coach. Who do we keep, who goes and who do we bring in? Thoughts?

Way off, lol
