I really like Lawrence and think he has been an outstanding club man however I can't see a backrow of ET, McQueen, and Lawrence being effective.

We would still be one hard nosed forward short and hoping a couple of juniors set up but I don't think we will be able to jag anyone else apart from depth players

marsters is a risk yes. But so was suli. Correct me if im wrong but we still dont have a 2nd centre sorted…

Yes mcqueen and lawrence isnt ideal. The only reason while it would work is because we can use nofo and fonua as extra forwards in attack doing the hard stuff. Mcqueen and lawrence can concentrate more on running lines and good defence.

I agree and honestly would be more upset with Lawrence moving on/missing out than any of our other recent leavers. Just looking at it realistically McQueen is coming as a starter, ET has proven his worth, and I don't think Lawrence offers anything off the bench - he either starts or doesn't play imo. I would be delighted to be proven wrong

Fair point, would be interested to see how it worked but Aloiai can play decent minutes as well. If we were going to do that I would want a 25-30 minute impact wrecking ball who could come on and tear a game apart - can't see us picking one up so maybe we need to training one of the juniors in this kind of role

Honestly id prefer our 3 backrowers playing 80 min. Enough breaks these days that they can. If they could do that we could play 3 props on bench and interchange regularly.
