Jimmy Barnes? who cares. players aren't babies, they make their own decisions. at the end of the day TPJ believed he was better suited heading to the dogs as opposed to us and that's that. our offer was less, we don't pay overs. best of luck to him.

Does it matter how close TPJ's manager is with a high up member of the club? He should be looking after the best interests of his client, and I'd be disappointed if that was the leverage that got us TPJ over the Dogs. We want people in the team who want to play for us, not because they are coerced into it by their manager.

Mate we tried to start building around him. He turned us down. And if we paid more than the Bulldogs, as someone else has suggested, then we were willing to pay overs.

What else has your high up source told us about the negotiations? Everyone can see we struggle to get players over the line... what is that had made us, this season, so undesirable?
