Referees.......This could be a disaster!

Maxwell was perfectly fine for us last time, and I don't mind Hayne so much anymore - at least he is confident in his decision making.

If we play clean, we'll be right.

I'd rather these guys to Suttor/Sutton/Haines.

Maxwell has butchered us on many occasions in the past

in 2010 and 2009, and of course the infamous broncos incident in 2008.

This year he's been good to us - i'm hoping that pattern continues - couple of 50/50 calls re forward passes, etc have gone our way for once.

Granted, NONE of the refs seem to like to penalise the Storm in tackles though.

If The Tigers do the right thing then the refs are not an issue.

I have been very proud of the on field discipline that we have been showing of late.

Haynes a few years back was probably our best ref, than last year he turned on us. As for Maxwell without doubt the most over rated ref in the history of the game. Like others they have me worried

No way. It's only disaster when Archer is the ref. He's the one who wouldn't give us a penalty last week when the Dragons were slowing down the play the ball the entire time, Cecchin did. Don't mind Hayne and Maxwell.

I think they are a good set of referees. I doubt their performance will be the difference between a win and a loss anyway.

In the past I would definitely not be happy to hear maxwell has been allocated to our game and as for hayne well best left unsaid. Nowadays I give up they are all the same, Wests Tigers will just have to do their best and I'll be hoping the refs have little influence on the result of the game 😛ray:

The refs don't concern me as much as a Warriors side playing for their season. I just want the Tigers to run out on the field and stay switched on for the full 80 and tackle their hearts out.

Hayne likes a quick game and doesn't stand there taking a breather and talking crap. This is where Robbie Farah needs to shut up and get on with the game IMO. Occasionally he gets the refs offside early with his whinging.

Maxwell is an average ref who likes to stand there and be everyone's mate.

Either way, I think if we take the refs out of it by playing disciplined football, completing our sets and a reasonable kicking game, then I'm sure we will go OK. The Warriors are playing for their season, but at times their attitude is fickle and they lose confidence easy. Regardless of their halves who have had a good back end of season, they have no one to really stand up and take charge. I think their confidence will have been bashed last week and their nerves will play against them.

Only the Tigers can beat the Tigers !!
