Was thinking the same. Hinri is a disgrace, just gave penalties against us for the sake of it, it got to the point where our blokes just thought "#%#% another one, oh well". He's disgraceful.
The forward pass the Dogs got pulled up on from dummy half in the 2nd half: Perenara was standing right there as pocket ref and said nothing, Badger was 20 metres away and saw it. Would hate to have Hinri as the ref in a semi-final. We were crap today but by God that incompetent flog tried his best to ref us out of the game IMO.

Pathetic as usual. Their biggest error was missing the 2-3 metre forward pass for our first try which ultimately got us the points. We need stats on where, when and why penalties are given as refs use them to manage games. A total penalty count might not suggest bias, but not all penalties are equal.

absolutely that was a forward pass. a real shocker. and the nine commentary team did nothing but bloke smoke up Benji's you know what. In that instance, we were very lucky. On the whole, the referees performance was very one sided towards our opponents. No surprises there.

Gavin Badger surely had to be the Senior referee in this instance but was Casey a distraction on the touch line, in another forum I've stated that for a former player Henry Perenara has little empthathy for the game, is he out of his depth?

Badger was called in last moment to replace another red that went injured.

Badger came in to replace the 2nd ref, hence why Henry was ref no1

Yeah we almost had Perenara and Klein…. I think that would of been worse
