Two things:

1) Tonight the referees were terrible, their soft penalties completely changed the momentum and outcome of the game.

2) When the referee decisions go against us we struggle to regain momentum and begin to panic and take the risky decisions. The best teams are much better than us at regaining the momentum.

Agree, disagree?

What could we do about this?
 
Agree, Suttor was way too whistle happy and everytime he blew a soft penalty momentum shifted. Even Gus had a snide remark during commentary…

have to agree with suttor he made some mindblowing penalites and penalities he should have blown he did not but in saying that the better team won we were crap again two weeks running ps suttor not first grade material
 
There was bad calls for both teams tonight . Suttor is a joke . We can't use that as an excuse Broncos were by far the better side tonight and if they had held a few passes could of easily put 40 on us
 
Tonight was the worst refereeing performance against one side (the Tigers) that I have ever seen. For the first time in my entire life I actually believe that their was blatant cheating on behalf of the referees and the NRL should investigate.

Our entire bay was calling for his head. The dopey bastard has no idea when it comes to the ten metres. Should stick to acting as one of the gay fellas on Modern Family.

I was at the game and dead set that was a terrible display off refereeing!! I'm not blaming them for the loss, but suttor refs like his bigger than the game. Makes a bad call, the crowd give it to him and he smiles so arrogantly!! Then almost like his trying to rub it in, will blow another one in the next set!!!

Dead set our record with this bloke reffing is shite!!

referees are the worst for many years ,, but i still think we are a very dumb side ... week in week out somebody can bluff the ref against us ... farah does a lot of whining , maybe the refs hve it in for him ....

Yes the better side won, yes we didn't play well. I for one will not go to another live game that the 2 idiots in the middle tonight referee again. It was one sided refereeing at its best tonight. If the NRL are serious both refs tonight should be dropped for a long time.

If I was Sheens I would pay the $10,000 and say it was one sided referring by doing so we would be a good chance of not getting these 2 clowns again this year.

You are kidding right Yes referreeing was not good but Broncos totally outplayed us Penalty count was 9-7 against us . Mander was a Tigers fan growing up . If you want to hear about cheating talk to anyone who watched some of the Saints grand finals in 60's even Harrigan talks about the referee in his autobiography

You can't even make the argument that we had a light bench this week. The refs had a hand in the game. They weren't exclusively responsible for the loss, but to insinuate that the retarded decisions that came from one B. Suttor didn't sway the momentum of the game is sheer lunacy Bug.

One way for a player to gets a referees attention is to really threaten him . If you are really unhappy with a ref Robbie should just walk up and say " If this refereeing does not improve we are walking" Had a captain I played with do this to a referee and we did not get 1 more penanlty against us for the rest of the game .
 
I am not saying the tigers deserved to win - I am saying the refereeing was horrifying

As for Bug - your ridiculous vendetta against Sheens is soooooo boring - we all get it - so stop posting about Sheens because it doesn't bring anything of interest
 
Refs so far this year have been very ordinary all of them. Yes the Tigers were outplayed the last two weeks but some of the calls are a joke.

didnt you see our semi v the roosters ,,,79 minutes of football and no penalty...
or the game v saints where lote got kneed 30 or so metres out ,,,,,
imo the refs cost us a premiership last year ,,, so why would they be any different this year
 
I actually turned the tv off last week after the tigers were penalized twice in about a minute. At that stage they were up 14-8 I think. I was that disgusted at the refs I was fuming. If I didn't turn it off I would have been buying a new tv.
Suttor is a blight on the game and should be sacked for his effort tonight.
In all honesty, tigers lost that game with they weak defense that leaked 4 soft arse tries. It wasn't a few individuals, I was basically the whole team.
