Refs with no feel for the game.

I know the NRL are aware of this problem, recruiting guys like ex player Luke Philips & the cronulla dude whos name escapes me to become refs.
Today we saw Robbie remostrating with te ref despite just being awarded the penalty, Kleins response was "Dont whinge you got the penaly" or similar.
From that I can imagine Robbie wouldve been arguing their tactics were not allowing us to get any roll on, thir defense was holding but penalties for their tactics really werent sufficient.
Robbies frustration was felt by me and i imagine every tigers fan just as it is every time weve played them.
Unfortunately its ''within the rules'' but just how sporting it is remains to be seen….its up to opposing teams to come up with an alternative.
If we play them at their game....we lose cause we dont play our game....**frustration personified.**

Just got back from the game and it was the worst refereeing performance I have ever seen - at one stage a melbourne player was standing 2 meters directly in front of the ref and didn't get penalised and that was one of their better decisions

Robbie certainly had a bit to say on Grandstand about it all, the Storm continually slowing the play the ball down and catching them out a couple of times with dummy half runs and no penalty

We have beaten them before when they use those tactics….. it was frustrating though.... i dont know why we didnt slot a few 2 pointers over when we had the opportunity.

I used to like Klein. He had a shocker today. Time is up. Time to follow America and have coach's challenging the refs decision. So what if the game lasts longer - i want value for money - the modern day ref is killing the game. I forever lost my faith in referees in last years semi againt illawarra steelers dragons when tuqiri got kneed in the back by Smith. Our penalty, kick for goal, win the game and smash roosters in the grand final. The referees robbed us of our Year of the Tiger Year. I want the ref to be challenged - this is getting ridicoulous.

Yeah I would like to see the coach being able to challenge a ref decision too.

Funny how there is more bad calls and controversy with 2 refs.So over it and in reality they are ruining any home ground advantage these days with there painted on eyes

nrl is the soft version of rugby league …when its origin all the rules go out the window .....yes it is a hard game to watch with the clowns in the middle nit picking every infringement

There were 2 line ball decisions that he didn't get. Its tough but it doesn't excuse his poor game yet again.

Rubbish game from the refs today.
Farah shld've got so many penalties.
Storm were offside and not square at marker a lot of times.
However, there were a couple of lose PTB from Tigers, and penalties were given instead.
It all balanced out, but overall they were pathetic.

Standard of refereeing throughout the year has been good.
This game was an exception, hopefully the only one for a while.

True, NRL is a TV product. Same as S15's
Gotta look good no matter what, its why Robbie is unrewarded so often as dummy half running is deemed unattractive

and to add … at the ground the storm were never back the 10 which made it easier for them in defence ....
there could have been another dozen penalties in that regard.....
