Relocation?

@TigerTiger We've played a few of those.

Yeah and they have sucked. Waste of a home game imo. Give us Manly at Leichhardt, or Dragons at Campbelltown, so we can get real advantage.

Well, in theory anyway, our team doesn't seem to lift for home games anymore, wish I knew why that was the case.

I cannot support playing full time out of the redeveloped Parramatta stadium (call it what it is without government spin or corporate sponsorship).

Give me Olympic Park or SFS. Aligning ourselves with another clubs location is the start of a slow exit.

What made you follow the Tigers? What will make kids born this week follow the Tigers?

For me it was supporting my local team. Where I could get to games regularly, and eventually travel to watch them.

@Russell good point Russell the balmain and magpies jerseys were just a thought but do think one game at each ground for tradition

Isn't the SFS another teams local?

Disagree completely, SFS is too far out of our area and doesn't meet your criteria as it is another teams home and in their area! ANZ is just a hole and the refurb will do enough to fix it.

Give me a ground with easy transport access, a vibrant restaurant and dining precinct on the walk to the ground and the best viewing experience in Sydney. Only one venue meets this and it is Bankwest.

ISnt that temporary? Surely Homebush will tick those boxes too when redeveloped?

Think Optus Stadium also ticks these boxes.

@2005magic Isn't what temporary?

They are not building a new stadium at homebush, the lower bowl is being moved closer and made rectangular. The stands are staying where they are. It will still be too big for crowds below 30000. I also still have doubts about it being done at all.

Agree with this 100%.
A future playing out of Parramatta is a future of being second fiddle to the Eels.

In terms of the surrounding area, I think that it is split between Souths and the Roosters. No club has a leagues club next door and is close to Ashfield & Leichhardt than Bankwest

I always marked the games against the Rorters at the WESTSFS in the calendar..esp the 2010 semi..that was a cracker..

Same for Bankwest against Parra now I recon..

Fair enough. I get the feeling we'll end up at Homebush. Ashfield, Concord and Homebush are all in fairly close to each other. Traditional magpie area and neighbours Lidcombe. If only it wasn't 80k.

I really hope not, much too big for club games, I hope it becomes an event only stadium as it is doing the game a huge disservice. Bankwest is the only way forward!

That would be my choice. Great venue.

@gallagher I can’t image WestsAshfield are overly happily playing out of Parramatta.
I think Homebush or SFS would suit them best.

Probably, I just hope they make the right financial decision

@Fitzy05 They allowed the decision to be made so I doubt they have too many problems with it, it is also much closer to them than Campbelltown.
