Renew membership from Sep 24 Email

I emailed a few weeks back and informed Humphreys among other things - I wouldnt be renewing my five year membership
**He said I'm entitled to my views however misinformed they were**, thanked me for my prior support and that was that.
I felt like my views, my email and my membership meant nothing to them

What a crap reaction. We can only go off what we see as the club treat us all like mushrooms. How can you tell someone they are misinformed if you never tell them anything?

Got it today and thought to myself …..Like that's going to happen..will just GA next year if worthwhile .

The way the Magpies were treated this year by the Wests Tigers, I definitely wont be getting a 2013 membership.

Thought about it for the last few weeks.

In the end decided I have been through worse times whilst maintaining my membership and as such will continue to do so now.

If the news on Beau and Heighno pans out to be accurate it is dissapointing in terms on their contribution to club spirit etc but not from a roster point of view as I believe both their positions can be filled by superior candidates for lesser money.

Ideally I want to see Moltzen gone from the club as well with the coach closely following him but for the time being my personal belief is that my membership is not reliant on a belief and agreeance with management policy.

I respect the opinion of anyone who feels differently and it does not make me a better or worse supporter than anyone who feels differently

How do WT expect fans to embrace and renew memberships so early after a crap season and bad off season rumblings and rumours???

We don't seem to be in the financial position I'd assumed the club would be in & this is the response they give a loyal paying member. Leadership starts from the top, hello. If the leagues club grant wasn't being increased by the NRL after the new tv deal, I'd have more serious concerns how the club is being run.

If it wasnt for Ashfield - WT would be in a cronulla like situation re off field $$ holes

Obviously they won't be able to change some people's mind or that they can't give every disgruntled member a discount or some type of merchandising to stay a member but surely you would think they would at least try to appease these members some how, like they did for you WTFL when they stuffed up your seating I think? & they organized for you to hold up a banner & have dressing room access after the game.

Youd think a good business would try to appease anunhappy customer:
"The club is as disappointed as the fans and we hope you reconsider your stance before the start of the season….blah blah blah"

Where is the spin when they really need it?

They are hoping this will all just wash over , and the accountability goes out the window yet again

Again , the only way we as fans can hurt the club is through the hip pocket

If they think they will lose more than Sheens is worth they have to act , makes stupid business sense not to

They only have one possible saving grace , to perform out of their skins in 2013 and with the mentality of the playing roster at the moment they will need a miracle

Yes they did offer me a special night at the sfs with dressing room access and a flag to keep. I appreciate that but in order to encourage members to renew then they should ensure it does not happen again (i said similar issues in 2010 and 2012)

WT is one of the most popular sporting teams in australia - its needs to capitalise on that more than it does.. Turn fans into members whenever and wherever possible.

I will most certainly NOT be renewing. I've has an absolute gutful with Tim Sheens and his team selections, recruitment and the general direction this club is headed. Losing Fafita, Gibbs, Ryan and probably Heigington is a kick in the guts. We have the best playing roster in the comp so Tim Sheens has alot to answer for.

The Wests Tigers board are the ones who extended Sheen's contract so they should also be held accountable. The best way to get the message across is not to renew membership. Maybe then us "so called fans" as Tim Sheens puts it, will be heard.

I think that most of you people who are claiming that you won't be renewing

1\. Will renew later on when you aren't so pissed off about the way the team went In 2011

Or

2\. Weren't members in 2011
\
\
But I honestly and sincerely do hope that all of you maintain your dignity, honor and pride
by keeping your word and not renewing your memberships .

Because I think it will go along way to helping me get better quality seats when I renew mine .

But you'll enjoy the atmosphere with shocking crowds and even more shocking performances

Where would you draw the line with everything that is going on ??

What next season its Lawrence and Fulton for example that are on the chopping block becuase Sheens coaches like an astrologist

The only thing the bean counters like humpty understand is exactly that keeping the beans rolling in.
In the english premier league and various leagues throughout the world ,when they dont like the way thier club is being run albeit by private owners they boycott.
This is the only thing they understand they dont care about the average joe and his family they just want your hard earned but like a post earlier you email them your opinions and they disregard them.
However if 5,000 ST holders do the same thing they have no choice but to listen, this essentially is our club they are just the administrators of it the keepers if you will,so make a stand now do not renew but make sure you tell them why.
Another way to make them listen is to create a supporters trust and then togther you can have one united voice, again this is what several EPL clubs have.
Our club is a shambles at present no loyalty no unity look no futher than the coach and CEO and the buck stops there literally.

Since '04\. Will prob get a cheaper membership option, just not a ticketed one.

Just because im not renewing doesn't mean I won't be supporting. There is a difference. It's a way of showing your not happy, even though it probably won't make them bat an eyelid or how blasphemous and incredulous you think it is

A part of me doesn't want to renew until I know what's going on at the club, there's clearly SOMETHING going down that we're being left in the dark about.

On the other hands, my seats are so nice. It'd be a crime to ever give them up. FML.
