Ink, how about you wait until our 2012 roster is finalised before you go slitting your wrists? Just a thought. Ill wait till everything is finalised before casting judgement.

**The club has underperformed for years on end** and they now seem to be making changes. Whether this is because of financial mismanagement or simply a new direction, well we'll have to wait and see.

Coming off third last year, missing grand final by one point and arguably ripped off at that. Not what I would call a convincing case Hybrid.

Haha wrist slitting…exxagerating much?
You seem defensive.

Just highliting the ''say one thing, do another'' nature of the club.
Do you think once we know the new recruits we will really know whats behind this sudden change of heart?

Dont play silly buggers, you know whats going on.
Hurts eh.

I'm not defensive at all, you would know I'm one of the most vocal critics of the club that posts on here.

We have needed change for a long time, IMO. Yes there was obviously a change of heart since the start of the year.

As for Pymble: mate if you are content or happy making the semi finals once in six years since we overachieved and won the comp then good luck to you. I am not. We played good football for about six weeks last season. To say we have not underperformed for years on end? C'mon…

We always seem to be building for next year. Same convenient line trotted out every year.

I, for on, would like them to focus on this year for a change

This year is like almost every other year. We are losing to teams we should be beating. We have played well for 80 minutes in one game all season.

I agree with Hybrid. Since 2005 this club has finished in the semis once. Granted the boys came very close last year, but just like post 2005 the style of game has changed again, and like then, our forwards are proving they are not up to it. We have the current Golden Boot winner on our roster who should be coming into his prime years as a footballer and at this point in time is playing behind a forward pack that just can't dominate teams. If we ever want to see the best of Marshall we need a pack that can atleast match the opposition. This should be a golden period for our team over the next few seasons and if changes have to be made to accomodate that then so be it. Anyone that thinks post Marshall days will be just as good are kidding themselves. He's a once in a generation player who like all halves needs a platform to be provided to produce his best. I applaud the club for not accepting mediocrity.

Can't argue with much there. The facts speak for themselves.

Imagine how good a player Marshall could have been behind a Broncos or Storm pack. I think this gets missed in all the arguments. You are only as good as your forward pack - and ours struggles to go forward.

I agree with all that farah also, he has been opping alot of stick but how is a dummy half like him supposed to create something with your back getting bent back week in week out
