Rorters were a train wreck during the mid 60's, they managed just 8 wins and 1 draw from 72 games between 1963 and 66 and collected 3 wooden spoons, lost 16 in a row between 1964 and 1965 then lost 25 in a row between late 65 and early 67, finished 1966 with a duck egg of wins and 15 points behind second last, they appointed Jack Gibson to his first coaching gig in 67 and he turned the club around.
