Rest in Peace Tigergran

I am sorry to hear this news please accept my condolences Stuart to you and your family at this difficult time.

I just liked the way she structured her posts with the polite "Hi Everyone" at the top. Agree with Chris about the class and dignity of her posts and as Chris and others have noted, always extremely respectful and polite to her fellow forum members.

Saddened to hear the news. I always enjoyed reading her posts and wished I could have met her in person.

Condolences to you and your family.

I am saddened to hear of Kay's (Tigergran) passing.

My condolences to Stuart and the family.

I will miss her positiveness and posts on this forum!

Stuart, Hold on to the memories and may you find comfort in knowing that she was in your life.

I have said one of these 😛ray: for you & your family!

Lost for words … so sad ... RIP Kay. You were a beautiful lady and I am honoured to have known you and called you my friend. Condolences and love to the family and friends xxx

I wasn't as fortunate as some to know her for a great length of time - I first met Kay in 2006 in Melbourne when she happened to sit next to me near the river end of the defunct Olympic park.
We got pumped 46-4 that day, yet somehow it all seemed to be something she took in her stride and this radiated out to those around her to the point where we were actually enjoying it despite the pummeling the scoreboard copped that day.
We kept in contact after that and I offered her a bed whenever the Tigers came to Melbourne from then on, which was just the once the following year - a close loss in round 1.

I caught up with Kay at several Leichhardt games after that, and it was always the part of the day I found myself looking forward to the most - a simple chat with a remarkable human. The many phone calls and texts over the years added to the real admiration I had of a remarkable lady I feel very lucky to have gotten to know…

Kay was simply a pleasure to be around, the links she had with the club, the knowledge of the history and the simple fact that she was just so nice.

We love you, we'll miss you and Balmain boys don't cry, but I'll be damned if plenty of us haven't been cutting up onions.

Thanks Kay. Condolences to the family.
UTT.

i think it appropriate that the first team wear black armbands at some point in time out of respect - respect for the fans that Kay embellished. Without the supporters rugby league would die, including our beloved team, however, the word should get out - the first team need to wear blackarm bands at some point in time - maybe like tomorrow night! Take care Kay, you'll never walk alone - love never dies. Keep the beers cold up there, we'll all be joining anyway, sooner or later.

Yes. And used to always sign off with ''yours tigerly''
Just an example of someone from another generation where respect and courtesy was common place, just the fact she always greeted everyone first before speaking….then signed off with a goodby....even on the net.
They dont make em like that much anymore.
R.I.P. Kay

x2\. always enjoyed seeing a tigergran post and would have loved to have met her in person.

It is a strange feeling when you feel loss for someone that you didn't personally know.
Like everyone on here, when you saw a post on any thread from Tigergran, you read it. Even after some of the worst losses or poorest performances that the Tigers had, she would always find something positive to write about. I was very sorry to hear that she was so unwell. When you read what those who knew her personally wrote about her, she must have been a wonderful person to know. The world is a poorer place when we lose people like Tigergran.

My deepest sympathy to her family and friends.
Rest in Peace Tigergran.

We were so saddened to hear of your loss stuart, Kay was a very respected lady and she will be sadly missed by a lot of people. Kay epitomised what a Weststigers supporter is and there is no more truer supporter.
It will be straNge walking into a Tigers game and not seeing her friendly face.Kay support never waned even in the dark old early days when about a dozen of us would be at the team presentations ..Im so glad Kay got too see her mighty tigers win a couple of premierships.
UTT…
