"Results don't matter"

This quote from JT earlier in the year seems to be the attitude that goes right through the club at the moment.

I don't like bagging players commitment or effort but there seems to be a real attitude of not caring about whether we win or lose.

Sack him….very practical. Another coach to pay out and the we can get Matt Parish!

Or the random bloke sitting in row 17 seat 5, who would have just as much success at being the Tigers coach as this idiot Taylor. Probably the bloke in row 17 seat 5 wouldnt have played Lovett in the centres with an Aussie Rep centre playing in the 2nd row. So he would actually be a better option then Taylor, or maybe the gum on my shoe, either one would be better then Taylor at this point.

It might be over the top to sack taylor half way through his first season but to assume matt parish would be worse? I'm not sure anyone could actually do a worse job. Personally though i'd be sticking with taylor for the rest of the year and sack him mid next year if the team hasn't improved out of sight between now and then.

I still think we should have gone with Cherrington on the bench instead of Santi when Halatau pulled out.

Taylor has not got much to work with this is the worst I have have seen the Tigers in over a decade.

Last few years injuries were a big factor. This year we just seem devoid of aggression, energy.

Just robots going through the motions. I reckon he are on track for back to back wooden spoons the way Taylor has them going at the minute.

Taylor wont get a crack at a 2nd wooden spoon!

Sack him and get a replacement coach who has is genuine about helping the club and be prepared to coach on for a low contract fee. The odds are definitely that this replacement would do better than Taylor who has no heart, no passion for the club. The club can no longer afford Taylor. Taylor could then find his niche by getting a job as a second hand car salesman.

Taylors killed off Farah for origin 3 by playing him busted , to go and get even more busted !
( even though I don't rate Farah ).
Plus he's just about put the final nail in the coffin for Leichhardt …

I do find it amusing when people post high on emotion. I think it's rough to suggest Taylor doesn't have the clubs best interest at heart. It's not an easy job, but as Newton suggested I am sure there would be people queuing up to coach us for less money…who wouldn't want the hardest job in the NRL on crap pay!

Robbie chose to play and knew the risk. The issues with Leichhardt have been well publicised long before we fell into the current hole we are in.

Agreed; but if you are pitching a revival to the NRL/council/whomever else is based in the decision making based on numbers getting through the gates (as it would also drive local business from punters getting coffee, food, etc.) and those numbers constrict because no-one wants to watch them play, isn't it just going to exasperate the issue?

All I can say is thank god I'm an armchair supporter.

It's s all too sad. Hobbo did you see the Bulldogs game? Playing at Belmore, in front of a full home crowd packed to the hilt, they put on a magnificent show for their fans. I loved how after the game they huddled and sang their victory song in front of their supporters.
It shows pride and respect for their club and their fans. What a contrast, compared with our lot at Leichhardt oval….

Crap pay???! Most of us can only dream, of getting paid that sort of money, for doing what they do.
Sure it's stressful, but there's other jobs a lot more stressful out there Smurf and we get paid a pittance compared to NRL coaches. Even rookie coaches get great pay compared to most other jobs.

So how does a broken hand relate even remotely to his shoulder injury

So its OK for Robbie to play SOO busted , but not OK to play after the injury had 12 more days of healing

The Taylor haters need to come out and admit they hated the idea of Taylor coaching from the day he was signed and are riding the coat tails of our bad performances

Anyone who had us rated any higher than a bottom four side at the start of the season had their black ,white and gold sunnies on when they looked at our squad , not even allowing for the fact our best two centres are injured constantly and Farah isn't 100%

Similar scenes at 1300 Smiles stadium TM

The Cronulla players came over to the corner of the field that had the away supporters are and the fans in the Eastern Stand and sang "Up ,Up Cronulla " with about 100 of their fans

The Cowboys players marched off and didn't bother coming back

I missed that game Happy. I love that teams do that. Connecting with their fans. Showing their appreciation to them, for showing up to support them. :stuck_out_tongue:
I dream of the day our boys do that.

Nothing better than winning away from home TM

We were at the game waiting for the second siren to sound so the boys could run around on the field after the game

Happy Junior pinched some grass off the field LOL
