I used to love watching 60 minutes back in the day. Good quality journalism. Can’t stand the show today, can’t tell the difference between it, a Current Affair or the Morning Show - all plumbing the depths of mediocrity and lowest common denominator. Mind numbing banality.

It used to be a great show, like you say really high quality. Richard Carlton, Ian Leslie etc were great journalists. Nowadays the journalism side of it has gone out the window, that Sarah Arbo is only there for her looks (she is hot though!!) and Peter Overton probably should apply for the pension.
At least the story of this mangy bird will make a change from ad neaseum stories about Coronavirus that 60 Minutes has been flogging these last 10 weeks.
