Reynolds solution?

My solution providing form prevails,

Keep Benji at 6, play Reynolds at 14.

He can sub Liddle/Benji as needed.

Money wont allow that.
Reynolds will start and Benji will be the benchy.

Cant have 900k year man warming the wood while a 100k marketing gamble starts.
Bring Benji on 10 mins of the end of each half.
Close that game out.

Reynolds got a pay rise?

Thought he was on $750k ?

Yes, thats closer to the money then $900K.

If we keep wining my money is on Reynolds comes back via the bench.

As for not having a "$900K" on the bench, Cleary has had a Noffa in ISP on $450K, Grant on $300K, so it's not had to believe Reynolds on the bench cuz of his price tag. Think Cleary don't look at price tags when selecting this weeks team.

Fit them all in
1 Marshall
2 Thompson
3 Masters
4 Lolohea
5 Nofoluma
6 Brooks
7 Reynolds
8 Taylor
9 Rochow
10 Lawrence
11 Packer
12 Liddle
13 Matalino
14 Twal
15 Eisenhuth
16 Aloiai
17 M Chee-Kam
Problem solved

Pretty much agree…
Reynolds even said on 360 he was even expecting a call from Hodgo .
He also said he doesn't have a clue as he hadn't spoken to Ivan on where he'll play when fit .

What about Rona, Folau, N Cleary and all the others ?

My take on that,

Rona- we have to take Blockers advise and relocate to Perth… not gonna happen
Izzy- only the Rorters can afford his 1-1.2m asking price for a centre... They will release Manu if needed
NC- is a realistic chance

Benji is doing what Ivan intended to do …EDUCATE Brooks in the art of being a good solid playmaker....Benj will step aside next year and Reynolds will take up the reighns....that's why Reynolds doesn't care where he plays this year,he still gets the pay packet...

Marshall did play fullback last year with Redcliffe with Gamble at 5/8 - until he was injured. He was good because he could read the game.

I was laughing more at Taylor and Lawrence in the front row and Liddle in the second row
I enjoy Cairnstigers enthusiasm though !

NRL 2018: Wests Tigers star Josh Reynolds unsure of where he’ll play once he returns from injury

WESTS Tigers recruit Josh Reynolds admits he’s at a loss as to where he’ll play when he returns from a hamstring injury.

While Reynolds has been sidelined, the Tigers have started the 2018 season in stellar fashion, knocking over the Sydney Roosters and Melbourne in their opening two games.

Returning favourite son Benji Marshall has been firing in the halves alongside Luke Brooks, so the questions remains as to where Reynolds will fit in.

The former Canterbury star is a week-to-week proposition due to his injury, and while he wishes he was out on the playing field, he told NRL 360 he couldn’t be happier for his new teammates.

“I actually rang (Intrust Super Premiership coach) Brett Hodgson today to see how I was going to fair in the ISP,” Reynolds joked.

“But he gave me nothing because they’re 2-0 as well.”

Reynolds said he didn’t deserve to slot straight back into the first grade side and that he’d have to earn his place, even it’s a bench spot.

“I really don’t know, I couldn’t tell you,” he said when asked where he’d play upon return.

“For me as a person looking from the outside in, the boys are going so well.

“I don’t expect to just come straight back in anywhere.

“Even the No.14, I don’t deserve that.

“I’ve got to earn my stripes again.

“I’m not Johnathan Thurston, I’m not Cameron Smith, so I know I’ve got to earn my stripes as much as I can and I’m going to do that.”

The Tigers have produced stunning defensive performances over the opening two rounds to concede just one try per game.

Reynolds said he was thrilled with how the side was playing.

“I can honestly tell you from the bottom of my heart, this is being brutally honest, the way the boys are going now, I absolutely love it,” he said.

“You should’ve seen me on the weekend in Melbourne.

“I felt like I was a fan again. Sitting on the sideline, I was cheering them home.

“Honestly, I want to be in that team, don’t get me wrong, but I love the way we’re going at the moment.”

At spot at hooker remains an option for Reynolds, and former NRL player Michael Ennis even suggested on Monday that Brooks should move there to allow the former NSW Origin star to partner Marshall.

“It’s different for Brooksy, he’s never done it before,” Reynolds said of Ennis’s call.

“But then again, I’ve got to get back in the team somehow.

“I’ve got to do whatever I’ve got to do.

“If Brooksy throws his hand up, he can go in there, I’m happy with that.”

I'm not sure what the bloke above thinks, but I don't even see Reynolds as a ball player , let alone a ball playing lock

ET is a handy link between the forwards and backs and has decent hands

If Reynolds wants on the bus , he is going to have to play some decent footy and oust Marshall

Thread of bad ideas. Reynolds comes back on bench. If he finds form and benji needs a rest then 6\. Not sure where this leaves et?

How about when Reynolds is fully fit we just have him as our five-eighth and Benji can play in ISP.
