Reynolds solution?

He'll be on the bench or starting with Benji on the bench. Alternatively, they may put him in ISP to get some match fitness for a game or 2 given he's barely played this year.

For mine he starts in ISP - gets match fit - comes into 1sts at five-eighth- Benji to bench.

How about this one…..JRey to 6 Brooks 7 Godnet 9 and Benji 14
I know he's been going well but JRey is our future and they've trained the off season as such.

I think thats most likely

Godinet at 9? What about Liddle?

Think that post was probably written before anyone knew how godawful, Godinet was. And maybe before we knew exactly when Liddle was coming back, although that was always inevitable.

Thread of bad ideas. Reynolds comes back on bench. If he finds form and benji needs a rest then 6\. Not sure where this leaves et?

ET will be in there. He'll either be moved to an edge at the expense of Rochow or he'll be moved back to lock with Eisenhuth going into the bench forward rotation. 0% chance Ivan sends him to reggies, he's a leader out there.

Fit them all in
1 Marshall
2 Thompson
3 Masters
4 Lolohea
5 Nofoluma
6 Brooks
7 Reynolds
8 Taylor
9 Rochow
10 Lawrence
11 Packer
12 Liddle
13 Matalino
14 Twal
15 Eisenhuth
16 Aloiai
17 M Chee-Kam
Problem solved

:roll

Marshall did play fullback last year with Redcliffe with Gamble at 5/8 - until he was injured. He was good because he could read the game.

I was laughing more at Taylor and Lawrence in the front row and Liddle in the second row
I enjoy Cairnstigers enthusiasm though !

Old school who never got over the number change for forwards.

taylor and reynolds at 12 and 13 makes the pack way to small and ineffective going forward.

you would leave way to much work for the 3 other forwards to get us going forward

Benji has hit a wall over the last 4 games. He has been outstanding and exceeded all expectations but when Reynolds is fully fit Benji is our bench utility and Reynolds is the 6.
Ivan will know the best way to work him back in but he is the best 6 at the club. Benji may come on and play 6 with Reynolds at 9 to rest Liddle for 25 minutes or so a game. I think that was the plan at the start of the season.

Benji has been good this season and is allowing brooks to play with much more freedom. He just needs to keep his game simple and get the basics right (kick for field position, defence) and the rest will flow on. He went away from that for a few weeks but that also coincided with our forwards getting beat. Benji behind a dominant forward pack is very dangerous….he knows where the space is, it’s instinctual. It’s when he tries to create the space when it’s not there he gets in trouble.

someone mentioned sheenius but what about benji at centre? i think his defence has definitely improved

I maybe wrong but the grind of a season seems to be taking a toll. Bad decisions usually are due to fatigue. He has been good for Brooks though no doubt about it.

Reynolds will play 5/8 as the original idea …I like put him in ISP when Benji starts the brain explosions due to fatigue and a few loses come I bet that thought will be forgotten pretty quick .This team has excelled above expectations but do not be blinded by the fact the team is a long way off the top sides so all hands on deck and that includes Reynolds like as soon as possible.

But he has been making poor decisions for 10yrs..,,it’s got nothing to do with fatigue…..he just doesn’t always get it for some reason

Fair point he’s got that entertaining gene in him that he can’t restrain. Loves the big play.

It’s in his DNA no doubt and made him as an nrl player. But he has been outstanding this year whe he has played within his capabilities and with an understanding of the game situation.

Why do I get the feeling a lot of people are going to be disappointed when Reynolds finally gets on the field?
