My first wife and I lost two babies pre birth. Hard times. But then we had two wonderful boys after that. My heart goes out to you Josh and your partner, but better times will occur - just give it time

@Tiger_Steve Yeah its incredibly hard, my wife and I went through something similar. We were very lucky to eventually have our daughter, but it is very tough to go through and Josh seems like a guy that would be all about family! So sad to hear.

Like some others here, have lost a couple in the womb, but it wasn't too bad because they were in the first trimester, when it is relatively common. Losing a pair late would be very traumatic.

@formerguest Yeah, coming home to see the nursery with everything waiting for a baby that will never come is just devastating. The mental shift that comes when you are expecting your first child is huge, you truly change as a person and then to have that ripped away.

There are other physical technical parts of losing a baby late that are soul destroying that I won't go into here, I feel absolutely horrible for anyone that had to experience it.

This is something I am so relieved I never had to experience. A close friend lost a baby very close to full term and I can't even comprehend what she must have gone through. My thoughts and prayers go out to Josh and his family.
