Hard to say for sure - he was a bit cranky,
But maybe just realigned his focus a little more toward Easts.

I think if we weren’t a rabble for the last 10-12 years, he’d have been about a bit more. It’s not like there’s been much going on to support, probably made it a bit easier to tune out.

RIP Watto.
A mainstay of the forum albeit for the last few years.
He and Geo as part of the mod team were always good for some insightful banter, fair in how they dealt with everyone and very passionate fans.

Watto was only unbearable during QLDs unbeatable run in origin, but it showed how passionate he was about his footy.

Watto, Geo and TigerGran, some of the OG's of this forum who helped to make it what it is today.

Watto was a good bloke, always fair and funny.
He used to DM me every once in a while and say “FFS do you know how many whinging bastards I have to deal with when you start ranting? Tone it down ya silly bugger”. 🤣
Sad to hear he has passed. Was hoping he’d reappear on here one day and we’d catch up again.
