The Newcastle Knights would like to pass their sincere condolences to friends and family of former player Eddy Tuilotolava who sadly passed away this week.

Eddy had heroically battled Stage 4 Ewing Sarcoma (Bone Cancer), since his first diagnoses on Friday 17th August 2018, at only 20 years of age.

Eddy will be remembered as a strong and flashy footballer, who possessed skill and strength well regarded in many Rugby League circles, along with a wonderful engaging personality loved by so many.

At the age of 18 Eddy was offered a contract with the Newcastle Knights Under 20’s Holden Cup team which he accepted and moved to Newcastle alone, leaving his family behind.

Eddy gained employment as a full time Barber and was on the brink of an NRL contract when his world was turned upside down with the diagnosis.

Our thoughts and prayers extend to his wife Zoe and all his many loved ones during this time of need.

Rest in Peace Eddy. 🙏🏻

Oh damn, know of him...
Saw the go fund me link kicking around.
MCK shared it.

R.I.P

Very sad, not because he was a footballer, but because he was a young man with the rest of his life in front of him. Sympathies to the family.
