Can anyone please tell me why the commentators call Naiqama Ninegama all the time? Bloody annoying!
Another one I heard last week was Pa pa li for Josh Papalii :laughing:

Think you'll find that the Kiwi commentators pronounce the pacific islander names correctly. We use an anglicized version of their names.

Chook Halligan is absolutely slaughtering some of these names! Didnt even know he was talking about Apisai Korisau…...he is calling him Aporsnore Koripiasoww or some such abomination. Flamin hell!

what a weak post match interview by mitch, i saw the first hald but only saw the last 10 minutes of the second half- but the way mitch kept going on about the "calls" was disturbing. what's worse? didn't acknowledge tonga even once, you hear robbie say "most of us are part timers" mitch: "there are only 5 full time contracted players of us"- tells a lot.
