Robbie Farah and rest of the year prediction

The irony here is that after Potter, we all wanted a coach to come in and assert himself and wrestle control back from the players. Taylor did exactly that and now the supporters are beside themselves. Careful what you wish for as they say.

this may be the only ever time i agree with you !

my issues with it all - apart from it being very public very messy and stinking of ego -is if this is what taylor wanted, he would have known this well and truely long before it all came out this time last year.

regardless of what people think of the manager and farah etc, it all could have been handled better and with that would have also given both the club and farah time to find another club that cap and contract wise would have worked for everyone !
In that light i believe Farah would have come round eventually re: alot of other senior players have been moved on etc etc

but as we have it, we have threats, no money, cap squabbles, dumpings, and all the rest of the soapy this has become

eventually Taylor will be judged by his results

if its only 1 more year at the club so be it but wooooow can you all imagine this mess to go on for another 12 months …........................................

Farah knows there is no return.

Thats why he said what he said.

He called Taylor out on the last 7 games hogwash.

His grave was already dug, when taylor dumped him he was never going to recall him.

Its the end of the road for Farah.

**Taylor will try anyone at hooker as evidenced yesterday with Edwards and Rankin. I reckon he would play Woods in there before Farah rather then recall Robbie.**

And this will scar robbie…it will stay with him for life
Too bad he brought it all on himself.
Hes never been a team player

Robbie has met his match

Yes …but a coach with half a brain would've been handy don't you think ?

If Taylor had a kpi to achieve a top eight position by year two for the club to exercise its option … should an option exist ... Anything less should see the club allow its option to lapse and part ways amicably.

Why does he have no brain, because he's picking on Reggie?

Nah not that , that was always going to happen .
Taylor's crap team selections , failing to improve our defence …
You know the rest ...
Seriously ...apart from your fresh wet spot in regards to Taylor ousting Farah, if you honestly beleive Taylor is a good coach you've got rocks in your head

Didn't say he was a good coach. I said he's improving the side. If you don't believe that, look at the ladder.

ET, had better watch himself, he told the telegraph today( according to the paper) that Farah will be back and that he has given plenty of early ball to the halves.
Supporting Farah is risky around Taylor

"He's an experienced campaigner, knows what he needs to do. The coach has told him what he needs to do and he'll do it."

So, he'll be back in first grade if he knuckles down and follows coaches orders. Good on him.

Lol it sounds like ET agrees with my opening statement

A bit yucky, but a very accurate post, well said.

There was more in that article than the one I read,
A lot more. Might be a little discussion between the two Taylors after that?
JT isn't very thick skinned .

Love to be a fly on the wall if it happens
He can't say much anyway .
ET is our best forward and he can't afford to get him offside.
Interesting though, isn't it

If you are right, then that is disgraceful. What ever happened to picking a team on "form"? Not on who is a headache for you. Robbie is a critic of Taylor. but in the world of NRL he is not the only one!!He is not a critic of his club or his team and his efforts have never been other than whole hearted for the club. His treatment is a disgrace.

There is a group of people who hate Robbie with a passion. They believe that Robbie is a vile person and he has been sacked due to his character. They believe rumour and innuendo that they have made up.

Personally I watched the game on the weekend and I've been watching the Tigers for a number of years while Robbie has been playing. I think that this line of thought that you both have stated is correct.

I'm just putting it out there in regards to Robbie Farah and the rest of the year selection prediction.

My understanding is Robbie has played 247 games thus far and my gut feeling is that Robbie will somehow play his 250th game at Leichhardt Oval as he has hoped (dreamt) in round 26 against Canberra Raiders.

What do you guys think?

My prediction still stands

I'm waiting for this weeks selection

Im with you on this one, I reckon the following changes will be made;

- rankin to fullback
- JAC/ Hunt to wing
- Brooks back to halfback
- Farah in / Lovett or Edwards out

Farah to play the last 3 games and hit 250 games then going to souths on a 2 year deal.

To be honest If the Souths deal is done it actually makes it easy to recall him.

As both parties are moving on at the end of the year.
