"Being the best individual doesn't mean you are the best for the team."

Keep repeating that after we miss the 8 again.

Don't forget, we are the only team to have lost to the Knights.

Refresh my memory. Who played hooker in that game?

If we miss the 8 is it a really big deal considering all and sundry had us finishing bottom 4 at the beginning of the season???

Some have selective memory, only want to remember the negatives such as RF playing reserve grade…why not focus on supporting the team who is BORDERING on the top 8 and just may make a finals appearance, this team has performed beyond expectation, especially being young and inexperienced, the coaching staff and S&C have done a fine job this year and to be so close to playing finals football is a credit to all involved from Admin through to the playing roster....congratulations to all involved and best of luck in the remaining 3 games of the regular season, hopefully the team can make the 8 but if they dont well done for a more than successful season 2016....cheers guys....

So you're saying if Robbie plays we make it? We've won 3 games, and lost one by a point. You're a hard man to please. Robbie couldn't even get us over the line against the Knights. Why would he get us into the finals?

Robbie Farah didn't win many friends among Wests Tigers hierarchy last week.

A mate of Farah took to Facebook to savage the club over their decision to dump the NSW star to reserve grade.

Louis Hanna wrote: "It's absolutely disgusting the way you've been treated, not just by 'JT' (coach Jason Taylor) but the CEO and board who have stood by and allowed this to happen to a club legend."

The tirade continued.

Farah then upset officials by claiming Hanna's words gave him "goosebumps and a tear in the eye."

"I'm humbled by your kind words," Farah posted.

One official said: "It would be best if Robbie didn't go public to endorse heavy criticism of the club."

No wonder Farah makes the decisions he does with advisors like this idiot guiding him. What hope do you have? No wonder Teddesco canned him.

He's done pretty well for him so far.
Or would prefer to have a manager who gets walked over by the clubs

A whole lotta nothing new there ^^

I disagree. As a supporter I am very worried about where this is headed. Ayoub is a smart operator and his comment about merit selection is the issue which stands out in this article.

The only thing to worry about is another attempt to destabilise the team. This time in the run for a spot in the eight.

Taylors doing a good enough job at that, by his selections

It is abundantly clear that many on this forum have no concept of what team means.

But we're so lucky to have people like you with your superior knowledge to educate us , O great One
What time is class tomorrow?

Moreover, where's his experience been in the past four years? You can't have it both ways.

Look at the other players in the team as well, not much there, as has been the norm in this club with a few exceptions.
Farah mostly has had to play as a hooker without a half for most of the of tiime
Since Prince, it's been a constant search for a half.how would most teams go with the rubbish he's had to put up with

if it's a disciplinary thing, just let the fans know. this rubbish about not being fit for the team is stupid.

Tomorrow? You obviously haven't been paying attention GCT. I put up a definition of team a few weeks ago. Seems to have gone unnoticed. Oh well, some players never do work it out.

This is a bit of a straw-man argument IMO.
The predictions around here were fairly mixed from memory - plenty expected us to make the 8 or at least be around there competing at this stage.
Indeed, JT himself said "I think we're gonna finish in the top few teams at the end of the year" early in the season.

Fair enough - that's not 'all and sundry' though.

This is why Farah should go….he has continually undermined this club for the last 3-4 years and his arrogance and ego is just unfathomable:

Farah stated that his last 4 games in first grade resulted in 3/4 wins. Without him is it 4 games with 2/4 wins - does that mean we are going backwards?

I have to laugh. There are plenty of things that Farah is and humble isn't one of them.
