Robbie Farah gets up off the canvas

Tigers need a captain who isn't such an immature little girl.

What a pity that the "supporters" of the Tigers come up with so much negative stuff. It is a pity that people cannot find some positives to balance their negative posts.

It's all his own doing and his behaviour as our captain this year was a disgrace to our club, our coach and to the man himself. I have no respect for him as a person now, I will never forgive him for what he did, and for me ….I wish he would take up an offer from overseas and never ever play on Australian soil ever again. From my favourite player to this in one year....

It's ironic you know.

Fans throw heaps and heaps of abuse at Farah like they know the joint inside out for being a drama queen.

Yet they (these same fans) are even bigger drama queens the way they carry on. Threatening to not go, hoping he goes over seas etc.

Please. He is a good player. He had a tough year but i would rather his attitude overall then that of the players on big money who can't put in a decent shift on the field.

He is a good captain during the good times but is easily the worst captain in the NRL when the going gets tough. I don't think he has the personality to be a consistently good captain as he has proven to be a bit of a loose cannon. His heart is in the right place, however his mouth has let him down on more than one occassion.

The only problem is i don't see any one who is in a better position at our club to take over the captaincy. For now i think it would be in everyones best interests to leave the past in the past and see where this new chapter takes us, hopefully everyone has learnt from their mistakes (there were plenty in 2014) and can be better for it going forward.

What's happened has happened and we can't change that now

Hopefully either way the club has got the message

Whether you believe the playing squad ran the club or all the other off field stuff is the problem these issues appear to have become high priority and seem to be getting fixed

No excuses anymore , if they don't perform they know where the door is , don't let it hit you on the way out

simple - well said

All his own doing? He was quoted in the media from a private conversation that happened twelve months ago, that had little relevance with what was happening at the time, by someone with their own agenda. Hardly surprising, his reaction to that was less than measured. Prior to that event he was having a great season. The best thing Robbie could learn from all of this is to voice his opinions on a forum like this where you get the benefit of remaining anonymous.

In fact Telltails - in old history this tac was known as treason. In old history this action warranted an execution. Robbie went outside the club and old history is no longer. Please refer to Happy's post - it's a precise summary.

The media wont be going away…..a few losses and they'll be circling like buzzards over a lame deer
Some sort of contingency plan needs to be introduced to prevent a repeat

lol - never looked at it that way AH. Luckily times have changed then for Robbie - modern day executions equate to the coach getting the chop.

Wasnt Gorden Tallis who was caught crawling thru a hole in the fence into a waiting subaru was it.Not exactly Captain courageous stuff.Wonder what Tommy Raudonikis would think of that.Anyhow we are going thru a very positive time at Wests tigers due to the great work by Mayer and Taylor and co.So lets not drag this whole Robbie crap up again.Lets focus on the good thingshappening at Wests tigers at the moment.Thx Mayer,Taylor and co.
