Robbie Farah - NSW Mole

Robbie killed off NSW last night
3 x dumb kicks in the 2nd half

Last year spilt the ball when attacking near the line in the last few minutes

He has done this to the Tigers many times as well - unfortunately he is not a pressure player

Yeah ok.

There is one similarity to his play with Wests Tigers. He plays with zero other competent game managers most of the time and has to do things himself

So you want to take a shot at him for a 40/20 kick with under 4 to go when they desperately needed field position and a full set of six or the kick across field with 25 seconds to go when NSW were stuck on the 20m line? Sure it was a 1%er play but they weren't looking like breaking the line. If whoever it was who tried to bat the ball back (Morris?) had have kicked it things could have got interesting.

Was McManus and he went to catch it. Maybe wasn't the best play but it was Hail Mary time anyway.

Stupid thread

Please he had to play hooker and halfback the whole game as there was a crap half playing he tried all night he was one of the best for nsw.

NSW were probably unlucky they didn't get a penalty when they tried to bat the ball back into the field of play , he was attacking a player while in the air

This is what annoys me ,the rules change dependant on where you are on the field

Farah played pretty well last night , the 6 and 7 need to take some responsibility and accountability for last night ,took some real bad options at times

I think 10 years of playing with Benji has rubbed off on him …...

100% correct. He is a better player than Cameron Smith excluding the crappy options that he comes up with.

Guys dont criticse RF. Not allowed on this forum. You can rubbish everyone else, accuse Marshall of hienous crimes but if you make factual observations about clear flaws in RF's game the lynch mob will come after you.

I agree the kick at the end was a little too much of a risk, but that aside the only thing i was disappointed in was that loose pass. His kicking in general was a little off but you can't crucify the guy for that. He tried to make some plays the best way he could. QLD slowed down so many play the balls and controlled the ruck largely. This forced Farah to look for other ways to seek an advantage. That's football.

Agree, not many other options left, NSW weren't even look like breaking the line.

We all remember it. No one doubts RF can make good plays. Its that his good work is offset by dumb plays. Happens all the time.

He killed us about 4 occasions in the prelimaru final against the Dragons in 2010\. He simply isnt a clutch player.

rule doesnt apply when it's an attacking player

He didn't have a great game but I wouldn't put all the blame on him Pearce/Maloney created nothing all game in particular Pearce so to say he was playing hooker, halfback and a bit of 5/8 isn't far from the truth he had to throw a couple of hail Mary's out there wasn't likely the other two were going to do anything.

I agree with this. He overplayed his hand, as e often does, but it was excusable given how Pearce and, to a lesser extent, Maloney were.

lol and you reckon our halves are better? farah is forced to do that whatever team he plays for. he would love to take isaac luke's role at the souths and he'd kill it there.

one thing farah's guilty of is going in to the tackles which are almost complete. always leaves a gap in the line when that happens as you saw in the fifita try against us. no need for that play

Why was he the attacking player ,sorry mate doesn't make sense , he was the player attempting to knock the ball back into play ,that makes him the attacking player

His kicking game was excellent last night - far superior to Pearce.

When kicking long, he found space. When kicking high, he gave the chasers the opportunity to attack the ball. When kicking to the line, we almost got a try but got the next best thing in a repeat set.

Without Farah, Jennings, Watmough and Dugan, NSW were useless in attack
