Robbie killed off NSW last night
3 x dumb kicks in the 2nd half

Last year spilt the ball when attacking near the line in the last few minutes

He has done this to the Tigers many times as well - unfortunately he is not a pressure player

100% correct. He is a better player than Cameron Smith excluding the crappy options that he comes up with.

Hahahaha what a ridiculous claim. In what universe does your sentence make sense to you Steve?

I don't know how you can't see that. He is a great player who comes up with a lot of poor options. Billy Slater is going that way as well now.

What I meant was, Smith and Farah are both great players with the only difference being Smith hardly ever takes the wrong option. You seem to agree with this. Robbie has a bigger skill bag, but Smith controls the game and is a model of consistency. To me all this makes Smith the better player.

This is exactly what I was trying to state.

We all remember it. No one doubts RF can make good plays. Its that his good work is offset by dumb plays. Happens all the time.

He killed us about 4 occasions in the prelimaru final against the Dragons in 2010\. He simply isnt a clutch player.

I'll never forget that. It was shocking.

I seem to recall someone kicking out on the full against the Dragons, which is what killed us, and it wasn't Robbie…

I was there and I never got Benji getting blamed for that one. The Tigers were right on Saints tryline with Robbie at dummy half and a backline set out wide. It appeared a sure try if Robbie passed it to Benji. Robbie hogged it. It was unbelievable. That to me was the game changer.

I dunno about the critics in here, apart from one or two misguided passes I though Robbie was almost the sole contributor to our attack last night.

The passes that went to ground - if we had more urgency in the backs we would have dived on those, instead of watching them Ayshford-style and letting QLD dive on the ball.

One or two of his kicks were speculators with little time left on the clock. The others were good space-finders.

I for one was jack of watching Maloney and Junior Jr do SFA with the footy. Pearce seems to think that if he runs at the line hard enough, all sorts of magic will happen. Instead he delivered face balls to players already on the shoulders of the defence, or crappy grubbers that hit defenders feet. Maloney is a good backup runner but he provided nil in attack. Both of them kicked down Slater or Tate's throat at every opportunity.
