Robbie Farah Tonight

A great game by the worlds best No.9.

If Cam Smith had done what Farah did tonight the commentators would be creaming themselves.

Farah blows SMITH out of the Universe in all facets of the game except Goal kicking.

I wouldn't go that far, but he has been building to some form and he did have a pretty good game.

Decent game but the two simple errors out of dummyhalf brought him back to earth tonight. No excuse for throwing forward passes from dummyhalf, and the loose carry with 1 minute remaining was not smart.

exactly - no forward passes - its not like its training - just lazy - is farah up to scratch.

He did get away with it, but aside from that, he did have a far better game. Instead of silly runs into markers that aren't going to be called offside, or putting Rhino into the markers, he rarely overplayed his hand and let Marshall/Fulton/Lui take control.

Touched the ball a fair bit so errors are going to occur.

Mr Bug whilst I appreciate you are on a high after a good win, your comments may need to be re-considered once you get your 8 hours sleep tonight! I am unashamedly a Robbie Farah fan but if both players were free agents and on the open market Cameron Smith would be my first choice without hesitation!

He is IMO the COMPLETE footballer and again IMO is close to the best Rugby League player in the world and that is considerate of Slater, Thurston, Lockyer etc. The Storm are half the side when he is not playing and who can ever forget what resulted in 2009 when he was suspended and could not play against Manly in the Grand Final (40 points to nil)

Coupe of points guys:

1\. He is still playing injured - osteitis pubis doesn't just disappear - he needs an op
2\. Touches the ball more than any other player - 2 errors not bad
3\. Even playing busted, still better than Ennis!! lol

Onya Bug. I wouldn't swap Smith for Robbie either. Smith just shovels the ball to the open side play after play. He is one of the contributors to the death of Rugby League via Melbourne and St Geo. Robbie had a good game tonight, glad we have him.

Watching it live Bug , though he had a good game …IMO , he didn't stand out in a great team effort... But I am smashed on a train back to Sydney , so what the heck would I know

He has the potential to be better than Smith.
Bug, you said this last year and I agreed with you coz Smith was not playing like he is this year, last year.
Today, in a way, he did stamp some authority, however his one on one tackles and some poor options must need work on.
One of his best games this year.

Bug Smith does it week in and week out and at the top level .
Robbies had maybe three games all season that go remotely close to Smith .
Lets wait until he gets surgery in the off season and do a comparison next year because at this stage there is no comparison Smith wins KO in the first

Farah had a good game tonight IMO, not to his best but he is building and he is thinking of the time and less of himself it appears by the way he is getting the ball to others. Gets through plenty of defence each game as well.
