@Tiger_Steve A few close ?ish to him said that he was lucky to stay upright to 300. I think he’ll be rested once/twice but defs last game @ Leichhardt, he’ll retire after anyway

i think people are missing the point. He is injured and fairly full on by reports. He was struggling to undo his laces after the game. if he is fit he should play on but the reports about say he isnt.

If the footy god's smile wests tigers will win enough game to make the finals.

If they don't, Robbie will get to play his final game at his beloved Leichhardt Oval against the Sharks, regardless of the result on the day, when the game is over, I wouldn't be surprised if both teams line up and give him a guard of honour..

Wests Tigers veteran Robbie Farah is set to call time on his career at the end of the season after bringing up his 300th NRL match last weekend.

The Tigers have not officially made an announcement about Farah's future but have called a media conference involving the star No.9 for 11am Tuesday.

Farah, who played 16 State of Origin matches for NSW and eight Tests for Australia, has spent 16 of his 17 seasons in the top grade at the Tigers – where he played in the grand final-winning team in 2005.

The 35-year-old also played at stint for South Sydney and represented Lebanon at Test level in recent years.

**Wests Tigers legend Robbie Farah set to announce his retirement from NRL**

Wests Tigers legend Robbie Farah is set to announce his retirement from the NRL after an illustrious 16-year career.

While no official announcement has been made yet, the club has called a press conference for Tuesday morning at 11am with Farah, head coach Michael Maguire and CEO Justin Pascoe.


After bringing up his 300th game in his side's Round 19 win over the Knights, the 35-year old is expected to call time on a storied career in the top grade that was highlighted by the 2005 Grand Final win with the Tigers.

Alongside Benji Marshall, he is undoubtedly one of the biggest icons in the joint-venture's history and will go down as one of the most crafty hookers of the modern era.

Farah played 16 State of Origin games for New South Wales and represented Australia on eight occasions, and in more recent times has represented Lebanon on the international stage.

After a brief stint at the Rabbitohs, the dummy half returned home in June of last year and opted to continue on this season alongside his old mate Marshall.

But the retirement of the two-time Dally M Hooker of the Year will not come as a shock, as talk surrounding his future in recent times seemed to indicate that he would not play on in 2020.


Farah was involved in a heated exchange in the lead-up to his 300th game with Jason Taylor and Rod Reddy, which led to the latter describing him as the 'most selfish player I have ever been involved with'.

There will be more to come on this story as it develops on Monday night and into Tuesday morning's press conference.
