@troyzab, im just trying to get an understanding via forum of what is going wrong. I am a big fan of robbie but is he really feeling it at the moment?

Farah was good last week, and that is coming off a two week suspension, so unless you are speaking beyond the last three weeks, can you please elaborate for me?
 
If the Tigers are to turn it around this year, Farah will be a major part of it. Over the next few weeks I feel that we will again start to see some of his best form return. He gave us a taste of it last week against the Broncos.
 
If this is out of form, then even out of form Robbie is one of our better and most consistent players.
 
how can you be in form when you missed out on 2 games and keep playing in a losing side that is lacking in confidence. He is one of the key factors why we were losing , him not playing
 
Robbie has been outstanding all year , his defence especially . He is well known for his flair , this year he has found a great balance between style and substance , Robbie is the backbone of the team .

Thought he was pretty good on Friday night. Certainly not why we lost. Besides who is the OP proposing to play hooker in his place?
 
If you mean that he is not dominating the game as he once was, then I tend to agree with you. Still plays well each week though.
 
I agree been out of form for a long time . I stated in a post 4 weeks ago he went from being the second best hooker in the comp 3 years ago to lucky to be in the top half dozen . I loved this guy as a player but times are changing just like his attitude and skill on the field .

I respect Farah more then any other Tigers player. The bloke grew up in the juniors and went on to captain the club he loves. The blokes cares more then anyone about the club and where it is at. He is still a very, very good footballer. However I think in general injuries and maybe even the captaincy and other distractions like Origin have affected his form long term. He is still very good, however between 2006 and 2008 the guy had some genuine blinders, where he was just about the best attacking player in the competition. He could easily have been a 2 time Dally M winner. That genuine spark and creativity he had looks like it has worn for with the injuries and making 45 tackles a match.

If I'm honest I think it's a dissapointment where his career is at. For his talent I thought he would play several origins and test matches for Australia. Maybe circumstances have conspired against him however I don't think he is the dynamic force he was a few years ago.
