I don’t understand the hate. I’m not an expert so would someone confirm if the following observations are right

Could Rochow be playing a deliberate role for the team that drives up his missed tackles?

1\. Our line speed has improved this year
2\. Rochow leads our line speed
3\. Rochow often makes first contact
4\. We are getting more people in the tackle
5\. Rochows line speed makes him more likely to make contact but not go on to make the tackle
6\. Our goal of people in the tackle over comes this but it does so two meters closer to the opposition line than it would have without Rochows line speed

Imho, Robbie just doesn't do enough simply by being able to play an avg. 80 mins to keep both Aloiai and Chee-Kam from sharing the right 2nd row position.

That's the way i see it as well. That role requires a huge amount of effort. I happy for his to be replaced, if there is someone able to do this role better than him. But i don't think Alioia or McQueen will be able do this role as well as Rochow is currently doing it.
Every time we beat a team, the comments are "gee The Storm/Cowboys/Easts ect were off their game". Our defence has been great and we are really stifling teams attack (Bar the Warriors game).

Thats was kind of my point.

He is there until other players form reach a level to force the coaches hand. If they dont he holds his spot.
