Robbie set to make Kangaroo's Four Nations Team

congrats to Robbie!!!

but how do the dragons get no one in the squad?

I would have had Ben Creagh in my team in front of Trent Waterhouse, Ryan Hoffman, Nathan Hindmarsh and Paul Gallen. The thing I don't understand is how can the NSW selectors not Hoffman, Hindmarsh and Farah, yet the Australian selectors do. I was always lead to believe that you played for your club and if you were good enough you get picked for SOO. From there if you're good enough again then the ultimate prize is the Australian jumper. Unless I'm wrong either the NSW selectors are just dead seat dopes or the Australian selectors have cheapened the Australian jumper and just give it to anyone willy nilly.

Creagh should have gotten a spot… but hindy deserves his spot he is the heart and soul of parra and is a great leader to any team and that is prob the first time in a while a team was based on form

Chris, you have got the theory spot on but realistically, playing for Australia is a step below Origin.

No dragons? I'm guessing they don't want the Kangaroos choking in the final :stuck_out_tongue:

From the official Wests Tigers website:

FARAH NAMED IN FOUR NATIONS SQUAD
Wednesday, October 07, 2009

Wests Tigers captain and hooker Robbie Farah has been named in the Australian Squad to play in the Four Nations Tournament in Europe.

Farah joins other Wests Tigers representative players Benji Marshall (New Zealand Captain) and Gareth Ellis (Great Britan) in the tournament.

"I am delighted that three of our players have been selected to represent their countries in the upcoming Four Nations tournament" said Wests Tigers CEO Stephen Humphreys.

"We are proud of all three boys, wish them all the very best and hope that this exciting news will lead Wests Tigers into a very successful 2010 season."

The Four Nations Tournament commences on October 23rd, with Australia taking on cross-tasman rivals New Zealand.

Creagh should be in the starting 13 and he cant even make the squad, what a joke.

I rate Robbie as the best 9 in the game, but with Smith having a mortgage on the spot im surprised he made it. I thought they would cover Smith with Cronk and if he did get injured u can just fly Robbie over.

How does Cronk get in ahead of Princey?

Cronk deserved it….....Prince has never been the same since he left the Tigers........

Top work Robbie! Well deserved.

I did just have a moment though when I was walking past a TV in a shopping centre & FoxSports was showing the team. First name to jump out at me on the screen was:
J. Morris!
It took me a second to realise that supercoach hadn;t selected everyone's favourite 5/8th.

Me too, it's only taken me 3 hours to log on since watching the news & thought this place would explode with John Morris selected. You're not the only silly one. :stuck_out_tongue:

Well done Robbie, well deserved. :wahoo:

Congrats Robbie - have to feel sorry for KG - injury kept him out of SOO and now 4 nations - surely he would have been selected ahead of Shillington.

Starting 13 pick themselves, Some of the backup players should not be there.

Side loses credibility without Ben Creagh.

How many games will they actually be playing in the tournament? Just wondering whether they will try to rotate some of the players to keep them match fit. If they don't the only way Farah will get on the field is if Smith gets injured…

Good to see Farah in the Kangaroos team…ahead of Ennis...this is how they truly compare...Farah is streets ahead of Ennis!
