How many Jennings threads do you need til the coach wakes up. It's embarrassing he is so bad. He never ever gives us anything.

Plenty - pretty sure he doesn’t read forums for coaching advice

Maybe he should start. How’s not reading them working out for him

Ok
We should have a "Michael Maguire Hot Line" thread
Or
"Coaching tips 101"
Look I don't think Madge will go into next week's game without a number of changes
My tip
Jennings < Talau
Marshall < Walters - Marshall to bench
Sefarth < Musgrove to the bench

Why he is still playing first grade is either a reflection of poor coach's selection or of the depth of our club, take your pick.

I am sure the coach takes note of comments in this forum and acts on them... NOT.

I am extremely disappointed with the performance last night from the whole team, however the game from Jennings was summed up when Ash Taylor kicked his 40/20 and you watched Jennings jogging back on the wing rather than pushing himself to get back and cover.

He dodged a bullet with letting the bomb bounce as they touched the ball otherwise the game was over earlier than it happened.

I understand the result is in the history books now, however did anyone think the last kickoff crossed the line? I thought they caught it and dragged it over early thus a penalty to us.

Deadwood, not to be resigned.

Also the majority of the team played like it would be a walk up win.

Terrible for us devoted fans.

Wake-up Tigers

In the first half the Titans kicked a 40/20 was that Jennings ambling back to try and stop it from going over the side line ? The Titans scored not long after. I didn't see much of the match but I thought that effort was really lacking.

As a winger, you have to either attack the ball..............or...........position yourself for the bounce and defend the play.

Jennings (and Nofa the weeks before) did the absolute cardinal sin or standing in the middle. Not aggressive enough to catch it / stuck in no man's land to defend it.

Both will start next week v Canberra...who will expose them.

At this point, we all know this.

Nofa was badly shown up against the high bomb against Newcastle when the opposing winger snatched the ball without a contest and scored an easy try.

I am sure that after Jenning last high bomb catastrophe I lip read Madge angrily saying "we can put a line through him now". His assistant sitting next to him nodded.

you have jennings under the high ball
then you have Nofo and his side the BJ and Benji very shaky
between them we leak to many points

I think you have really hit the nail on the head.

Jennings is getting close to the likes of Anasta and Blair as the worst buys in Wests Tigers history.

Gee I hope you are right.

We all have light bulb moments as committed fans and mine last night was when the titans kicked into the corner and AD came across to get to the ball. He was obligated to take it into touch and the titans got a scrum feed 10 out from our line. It was what was going on in the background that was the true indicator for me. Anthony Don was following up the kick and ran straight past Jennings to pressure our fullback into the sideline. Jennings followed up with no urgency or desire to assist AD. He had no intention of committing for the team. It was embarrassing for the team and confirmed to me what Madge said about the players owning the game. Jennings is off contract at the end of this year. Push Mbye to the wing and bring Tommy Talau into the centres.

Mbye is not a winger.

.... missed out on all the genetic gifts of his brother Michael.

NB: Eating humble pie as I was a fan

Except BLUDGING!!!

If Jennings had Thommo's heart and Nofo's tackle breaking ability we'd be onto a winner. And therein lies the problem...

Pretty bad when sides can have about 6 different plans to break us down

Robert Jennings is listed on the Wests Tigers website as a Centre. I think his signing was a case of mistaken identity, thinking they were getting his brother, Michael Jennings.
