Robert Lui

Old sheens persistance with lui is paying off. He was soild last year in the semis and steped up tonight in a big big way. He has alot of improvment on some aspects of his game but geez he is a talent and im glad he is gaining the confidence needed to win big games.

I think what most impressed me was the way he took control in the 2nd half - calling for the ball running the plays - Benji was playing 2nd fiddle and you could see it Robbie was in charge - Loved it

and they both deserved to cop heaps when they were playing badly. Now they've finally found some form.

As I said before give him time and this time has come.Last night he ran the ball into holes in the opposition made gaps for our attack, and looked sharp, looked fitter.Well done Robert Lui,keep it up during the finals.Well done West Tigers…....Go! Go!

The way Lui finished '10 I was eager as anything to see how he fared this year. He started ok, got injured and didnt come back the same player. Whether it was his injury or his off field dramas with his missus and his future, his form by mid year was not that of a first grader.

Whatever and whomever has helped him turn it around need a great big congrats as he is week by week becoming one of our most important players. His ball playing and kicking has been exceptional over the past month or so but it is his attitude to defense that has improved out of site.

His confidence in his own skill set is improving as well. I have no doubt this is the direct influence of his team mates. Not only have they seemed to fully accept him as their halfback, they are actively promoting him as their playmaking leader.

As a huge fan of Robs last year and a dissapointed one for a section of this year I am over the moon that he has come back.
