Big fan of this guy. Knew he’d turn heads.

Remembered what he was capable of in his time at the Knights. Just wasn't sure if he was going to be one of those blokes that could shake the injuries and get back to his best.

He is the St George Illawarra of players. Very solid and dependable so gets out to a good start.

The question and doubt is does he hold his form and hold his spot once everyone is fit and in form.

Loving his contribution every week. It makes a huge difference having a few players going for long minutes,
Hope he stays fit all year.

Would love for him to run decent line, maybe use his size more close to line. Other than that he was always going to be solid player, he also knows that having McQueen in reggies getting match fit, means that he cannot let his guard down.

Happy to say I was right about him when it was announced after seeing him when fully fit dominating for the Knights but I also said Gamble would push his way into the side early.. I guess we cant be right all the time…

Very happy to say that he has blown my doubts out of the water.

Has proven to be reliable in defence and not bad with the ball tucked under his wing either. McQueen will really have to up his game if he wants in!

Good?

He has amassed a lot of missed tackles. He has an effective tackle completion rate of 77.9% which is way below the other forwards, the majority of which are >90% (lowest is 87%).

Hit ups are ineffective. He has 1 off-load in 3 games. Post contact meters are atrocious.

Meanwhile Aloiai is on the bench and Sue is playing reggies.

At least he's trying.

How many minutes is he playing every match? Also for comparison what is Elijah Taylors MT and effectiveness rating?

It's all relative and I don't see Josh or Jesse being big-minute, effective hitup, high tackles type players.

Yeh he was a bit loose in the Storm game… Probably inflates his poor stats... Other than that he's been good.
One of those players before he arrived s here his name stood out but his game didn't... Good to see his game is more noticeable here

Well I’ll say he is an upgrade on our last Newcastle knight in Edwards….. but he’s going to have to show more skills if he’s going to hold his spot for mine. But happy for what he is doing now.
