If Thurston and Slater would of played this game we win i reckon. Inglis would of been awesome at Centre .1.Slater 3.Inglis 6.Cronk 7\. Thurston

We were well and truly beaten in the forwards though, Forever - I think we would've needed Myles and Scott, at least, to get a different outcome.

Gallen as well

The pommie ref never let us in it - hopeless decisions and kept the Kiwis back 5 and us 15.
Kiwis were always going to win this joke of a tournament before a ball was kicked - even then we nearly spoiled the party.

take the grapes back if theyre not sweet enough

CQ you cant be serious surely, the aussies got the rub of the green without a doubt. Ol' Cam claimed at the end end that 'us old guys stood up at the end', he played like a lil dog, it was a pathetic skippers effort…no wonder he had tears in his eyes. great frontrunner captain but when his team needs h he is a disgraceful joke. Can't honestly see how Farah wouldn't have been more effective out of dummy half. Smith is a myth for want of a better word or phrase...no leadership whatsoever when it counted

The kiwis were lucky to win the last three games.
The ref tonight gave every opportunity to them ....again.
Sour grapes or not I do not see any good in any team playing against Australia, NSW or the Tigers.
And I never will.

Kiwis second phase killed us all night, while it looked like it was coached out of our boys. Didn't see any from Woods, Parker, Papalii or Thaiday for at least the first hour or so.

I kid you not, this is an actual post game quote from Tim Sheens:

“I was proud of our guys but we had a bit of inexperience."

And to think there was an article on NRL.com with the headline saying he wanted the job till 2017\. Good luck with that Tim.
