Roos V Kiwis...Four Nations Final

The pommie ref never let us in it - hopeless decisions and kept the Kiwis back 5 and us 15.
Kiwis were always going to win this joke of a tournament before a ball was kicked - even then we nearly spoiled the party.

Maybe next time they might pick some props! Woods did well but he can't perform miracles, a little more help in the engine room would of helped. Cronk was a bit off also his kicking wasn't up to his usual standard. Missed Thurston big time, the Cronk/Cherry combo just isn't there yet.

I can help a few with who to point the finger at

He probably won't have a job in a few weeks

Tim , note to self , A good big man will always beat a good small man

PS Buy Tim a calendar , its not 2005 :brick:

Glad inglis had that run near the end.
I thought he'd gone home halfway through the first half.
A passenger in both Kiwi games. Great game by Marty, and Johnson

What garbage !
The Aussies got the majority of the 50/50 calls , the kiwis were just a better side !!!

Let's face it if Thurston, Scott, Myles and Slater were available to play it would most likely be a different outcome, but they weren't there and the Kiwis grabbed the opportunity with both hands. Still, how many times have NZ had to play in these matches without many of their top players? They are deserved winners tonight and were the best team throughout the whole tournament.

The kiwis were lucky to win the last three games.
The ref tonight gave every opportunity to them ….again.
Sour grapes or not I do not see any good in any team playing against Australia, NSW or the Tigers.
And I never will.

didn't do enough tonight.

Smith looked like he didn't want to be there.

We were destroyed in the forwards You can't expect us to play well when you are so badly dominated

I can't remember a league Test in the last 30 years where a forward pack has taken ours apart

Maybe when Olsen Filipina tore us a new one in an 18-0 loss in 1985 in NZ

If Thurston and Slater would of played this game we win i reckon. Inglis would of been awesome at Centre .1.Slater 3.Inglis 6.Cronk 7\. Thurston

I kid you not, this is an actual post game quote from Tim Sheens:

“I was proud of our guys but we had a bit of inexperience."

How long did Hunt get? I had him at approx 8 mins but may have missed an earlier stint.

We were well and truly beaten in the forwards though, Forever - I think we would've needed Myles and Scott, at least, to get a different outcome.

Congratulations to NZ. They deserved the win. A special mention to our boys. Marty, Adam, Aaron, Tim ,Sue. Well done boys, you all did us proud.
