Roosters fans will have to find a level of patience they haven't needed in many years.

I cant see them coming for too many of our players, but I'd be surprised if there weren't one or two on their radar...

Who could they potentially go after?

From a talent perspective, Taylan May is the one I fear losing most.. but I reckon there'd be bad family blood after what happened with Terrell..

Samuela played his best footy last year and is only going to get better... but I think the bros would rather stick together..

The reality is that any player that is playing at a high level is a potential target. Right now I doubt any of our team would be on the radar, however if they have a breakout 2026 than they become a target for the Roosters or any other club. FB is probably the biggest challenge at the roosters, however I'm not sure Ponga would be the right fit depending on who ends up partnering Walker post DCE. Also has some serious HIA history which would be a red flag for many clubs and especially the Roosters with the way Robbo encourages them to play.

It'd be tedesco 2.0 all over again.. but they have toia who wont be going anywhere so he has one spot locked down.

We're sitting around with bog and and mig welders at pick and payless, while they're picking which new ferrari to buy -- seemingly every off season. Technically we're both in the market for a better way to get around. But its not the same thing is it?

Rebuild?? Pfft They don't need a strategy and they don't need to wait and see if something works. They can give something 2 seasons max and say.."Thanks.... Next".... and they know it. They were supposed to be rebuilding last year and absolutely bossed it at times. They don't need a long term strategy because even if they find something they don't like they can offload it to clubs like us pretty quick.

But for all of that prestige, they also annoyingly have a great, intelligent coach and the people around that club seem to understand that and back him up with minimal fuss. They have a Beach AND ideas. We say Benji lacks experience but this guy Trent Robinson got his chops coaching French part timers in Perpignan. It's hard to dislike him.

Incidentally that's something I might try to do this year... go down to the French Rivera to get my Rugby League fix. Its like a 4 hour drive from Berlin.
