Round 1 2016 - Tigers Team Announcement

I know our depth on the wing isn't great but if Justin Hunt is in our starting team next year we are in a lot worse shape than i thought. I can see him as a replacement for Moltzen in NSW Cup and that's it. My fingers are crossed one of the young guns stands up like Obed Karwhin or even Chance Peni. Would much rather give a young guy a chance rather than a 27 year old who has had his chances and not made it.

From what I have seen of Hunt, Tim - I'll take him every time on the wing over Peni and Karwhin.

I would like to see the tigers take advantage of a height difference for once. Karwhin is 6 foot 7 and Hunt is just under 6 foot. Lets produce our own Daniel Tupou. For years we have been on the wrong end of kicks to the wing.

Gee we really need 3 or 4 diamonds to emerge from nowhere next year.

I don't see it as a possibility that 2 backs and 2 forwards can emerge as surprise packets in the one year.

Great chance for the likes of Chance Peni, Griffin, McConaghie and Chee Kam to be those players though.

Fair point but when you add the attacking and defensive genius we have as a coach the Titans look like world beaters

I think Rankin could surprise. He has a bit of pace and good ball playing ability which would link well with Tedesco.

Halatau & McConnachie to put plenty of pressure on for 2nd row/bench spots & plenty to put pressure on the outside backs as well. It's the props that are a worry, Tapau & Lodge gone with no replacements…
