Round 1 @ Liechhardt............I am predicting a sell out!

Round 1 at Leichhardt oval i feel will be a sell out.IMO it will seel out long before game day…...

For the following reasons -

First round 1 game at Liechhardt Oval in years.
First round 1 home game in a couple of years.
It is a Sunday afternoon at Liechhardt (is there any thing better in Rugby League). :smiley:
All the Hype surrounding carney and the Sharks.
Watching Gibbs and Fifita getting smashed.

Just my Opinion.

x2 frazer … cant wait for the sunday arvo at leichardt, there is no greater event in sport, anywhere !!! ( maybe exagerated just slightly )
 
I think you have forgotten the biggest likely draw card and that's the high expectations WT's fans have for 2012.

Should be a great day out at Leichhardt hopefully its nice and sunny too.
 
Probably get a fair share of Sharks fans too seeing as it is Round one and they're expectations haven't been crushed by then.
 
How good will this be… The last 3 years were very frustrating having to wait till Monday.

Marshall vs Carney
Blair vs Gallen
Woods vs Gibbs
Tigers Pack vs Fifita

The OG will get its first good work-out for the year. And Humpty... my seats better not have changed!!!
 
will definitely be a sell out unless there is rain forecast. so grateful to not have a monday night game in round 1

The best suburban ground in the universe
Every thing you remember about rugby League but better.

Must say all the hype for Leichhardt Oval rd1 does nothin for me…......as I will be flyin out that mornin to work up in Yarrwun for 3 weeks.......some 1600kms away!
I realise I should be grateful for havin a job in these current times but.....it's Leichhardt Oval!
Anyway to those who do make it along to the grand old dame of suburban grounds I hope it's a fine day n we get off to a smashing start for the season ahead

Hard to argue Frazer. If it's a sunny Sunday arvo the place will sell out for sure.

Hopefully sydney's rotten weather will be wound up by then. A muddy leichhardt hill isnt awesome.

Where can we buy tickets I have been on the lookout on the tigers website but cannot find as yet…
Do they go on sale soon???
