Definitely need 2 hookers. Hooker/Lock players like Watson, Starling etc are worth their weight in gold now.
Bird to cover halves/backline/2nd row and hooker to cover lock/hooker IMO.
1-5 maybe. Our halves are much better and it’s been a long time since I could confidently make that statement.
Latu ain’t a 9 he’s a half, with Hope being a pure 9 it bumped him up in the pecking order.
It’s sort of available now.

Yea i can see that - i guess the club has decided to bring Latu along in reggies and keep pressure on Galvin which is a good thing. I would be worried if i was TDS as i think Hope was the better 9 in the trials.
I think attack has to be our focus in this game. Galvin and Luai causing havoc, getting the ball spread hard and fast.
Defensively, we aim at their weak halves pairing and keep pushing them back.
I think this is a winnable game and we need to start the year strong, making a statement.

I agree Hope was better than TDS but one thing TDS has is youth on his side. Luckily for us we do have Api and Hope now to help the 9 position moving forward. I don’t think TDS is ready for regular first grade but he’s still got some time left before we have to call on him. And we re-signed Haywood who’s our Balmain SG 9 who will be challenging TDS for that 9.
