What position does Hope play?

Is he any good?

He's primarily a hooker but can play utility role. He was in the same Brisbane Tigers Qld Cup Premiership winning team in 2023 as Faataape. He had a great game (though with limited time) against Parra in the 2nd trial and has just been upgraded to a development contract.

I’m worried about our centre pairing apart from that I think the lineup was the best we could have named given injuries.

Is To’a out? Not named in reserves and I thought he would have been starting centre if fit.

I really like our bench actually and our starting pack though.

So one of AD or Faataape against Bradman Best who tore Naden a new one last time. Going to need to immense Turuva jamming me think to shut Best down.

Yea i can see that - i guess the club has decided to bring Latu along in reggies and keep pressure on Galvin which is a good thing. I would be worried if i was TDS as i think Hope was the better 9 in the trials.

Have to remember TDS started in the trials, once he goes to 14 he’s role changes coming on fresh against tired middles.

He's fast but he's not really much of a playmaker. Win field position and don't give him room
