The reason we lost today was because our middle got rolled. Pole, Hope, Bunty all struggled. 6 agains and penalties compounded it.

Was actually happy the way we got back into the game after the first 10mins. In previous years it would have been much worse.

Do not blame the Ref for our poor form. We had no line speed in defense, we missed one on one tackles we missed in two on one tackles, kicking was poor, Players playing today in replacement of injured or suspended players, proved that they are not up to first grade standard. The basic skills between our squad and the Storm was huge and this rest with our Coaching staff.

Maddens kicking was poor and his defence was below that. Showed why he isnt an nrl starter

Luai was 12 made, 6 missed.

Yeah at the start of the season we were rolling teams and getting plenty of six agains and penalties. Now we’re back to being the refs whipping boys again just like previous years. I wonder what happened? That NRL high flyer must’ve rescinded his bet on us to win the comp! 😂

There's no such thing as "realistic" when making predictions. And it is pessimism; I don't want to go Mr Dictionary on you, but pessimism is literally the prediction of negative outcomes. Optimism or pessimism, or neutral; no such thing as "realistic" for future events.

And you didn't say "every chance" of conceding 50, you said they "will put 50 on us next week, that's just the reality".

I'm not saying you are definitely right or wrong, I'm just questioning why you think we are definitely going to get nailed next week, because we had 2 bad weeks. In my book that is instant pessimism, because 2 weeks before that most fans were pretty happy about how we were travelling.

How do you know that the team doesn't turn it around? I won't say the odds are good, but you are predicting another 50 point loss. Natural for Tigers fans, I get it, but that's just not me. I'd stop watching if that was how I felt all the time.

You said "instant pessimism" like its come from nowhere.. like we havent just had 96 points put on us in two games, like we didnt fall off a cliff at the same time last season, like we arent about to play the two most inform teams in the competition whilst down on troops.

The harsh reality is that we are going to get pumped by both Manly and Penrith. Even if we don't get pumped, the chance of walking away with any competition points is slim to none.

I'd love for you to come back and quote me in a few weeks time for being wrong, but I wont be... we can all see it.

Until we are at full strength then we are every chance of losing to the dragons.

Our depth is woeful. That is why I am so confident we are doomed for the next few weeks.

Anyway, there was only one way tonights result could have gone. And honestly, it could have been much worse.

Only thing I'll take away from that is Luai continues to stink it up. Yah, we all sucked, and there was no way a good game from him was going to change anything - but 18 months of him is really a positive for us.

I think the biggest problem for us is that Api is so effective defensively, is involved in every second tackle and his work-rate often goes unnoticed. We have now replaced him with Hope, who frankly, shouldn’t be playing first grade. Without the fairytale story around him, I feel he wouldn’t be playing at all. But we truly need a hooker who does even 80% of the grunt work Api does to be any chance of playing the brand of footy that has been winning us games.
