I don't agree - 4 to 5 guys out will kill most NRL teams, especially if I can hand-pick spine players. We are talking our key players here, not bit-players.

You can't take the fullback, halfback, hooker, starting prop and best backrower out of any side.

Most teams in that situation can still surprise, or at the very least make a game of it, we’ve already seen it this season. Us? We capitulate like no other allowing the opposition to rack up huge scores against us. What an effen waste of a good start to the season!

Madden is an organiser. Get the basics right, kick effectively, make your tackles. Guy next to him is on 6 times more money and doesn’t look vastly better. Defence killed us. Man up in defence and we win. Our attack isn’t good enough to win 40-36 games.

💯 Yossarian, you build good attack from defence with massive intent, defence is about attitude and ours today was rubbish. . Souths aimed up yesterday in defence vs Sharks , every Souths player gave 💯effort in defence right up to the 80 minute, Sharks were never going to win against that defence. Doesn’t matter who is playing for WTs , aim up !!

Look we seem to be getting a bad stick, but I would do a Penrith after the game.

Have Benji announce that he is concerned about Harry Grant, say the player was clearly injured and showing the effects of a head knock. "why wasn't he stood down?" Clearly the NRL is not taking this seriously enough. "Wobbles" needed to be pulled from the game.

We can't blame the ref, its silly. Yet we are getting dudded. I am happy to play sillybuggers till we get a fair hearing.

No excuses Benji. Get the side cracking. Lets though have some fun with the refs that dud us.

Do not blame the Ref for our poor form. We had no line speed in defense, we missed one on one tackles we missed in two on one tackles, kicking was poor, Players playing today in replacement of injured or suspended players, proved that they are not up to first grade standard. The basic skills between our squad and the Storm was huge and this rest with our Coaching staff.

If Twal gets either fined or looses a week or two suspension, then after the Grant- Fainu 'non event' according to referee WT should immediately go to NSW Court and appeal it and until decision seek the NRL competition be halted. Stuff the buggers. NRL won't even admit double standards in officiating.

Again I'll say just like last week, what was everyone expecting? Look at our lineup. Can't get so emotionally invested in the result when the truth is our team today and last week was lacking 1st grade quality.

And unfortunately the NRL as a whole is going to be in a worse spot in the next couple of years with 2 new teams coming in, the talent pool is going to be BLEAK

Yes we would likely have done so as neither were great against our weak sides.

They put big scores on us. Particularly Cronulla twice we pushed them and twice we scored. This is proving just what Api and Douhi mean to this team on the pitch.

I know one thing we seriously need a decent back up hooker till Haywood is ready, Hope is deadset rudderless, Madden is a back up and always has been give Latu a go in the halves he is the future unfortunately I can’t see us winning a game till all the troops are back it’s going to be a tough couple of weeks,

I agree. Its time to get rid of this nonsense that Madden needs to be half back, his defence stinks and he is indecisive. it is time to put Latu Fainu back to halfback and Madden to KOE. If you are looking at an alternative to Hope , couldn't possibly do any worse with Joesse Lanyon , his last couple of games in KOE have been good. Maybe roll him into the mix somehow.

We need to work out an early release and spend his ridiculous salary on a decent halfback and centre.

Yeah Benji’s press conferences are getting a bit lame lately. He talks all positively and lays the blame on himself, saying we just have to get better blah, blah. We were supposed to get better after last week too, but alas! I honestly think he’s a bit clueless at the moment and knows we’re in all sorts, but wants to keep up the positive vibe from our early season form. Can see right through it.

We couldn't keep up with the Storms speed around the ruck, especially in the first twenty.

However, I thought we did well to gain some momentum back.

But we made some defensive errors throughout the game, not just around the ruck but two wide with Madden and Luai, who came up with a couple of terrible reads and LL was up against it.

We looked good moving the ball wide far from the try line but again struggled a little in the twenty, Madden went the wrong side a few times and his kicking game was sub par.

It was encouraging to see Latu's contribution to the game

Which is why you scratch your head, Latu was looking good just starting to settle and Benji takes him off and we have bloody Madden and Hope out there, work that one out.
