This is a game I am excited for. Melbourne will be up for this one. If we are able to upset them it would be one of our great wins. We have the forward pack to do it. I am worried about Brent Naden's defence and fitness though. Papenhuyzen could have a field day against him.

I can't believe that some LEAGUE experts on here that don't understand the level of intensity that the NRL standard demands, keep bagging Naden when he was playing really well at the start of the season before he got injured..clearly he was hobbling against the Dragons because he couldn't compete as usual with an injury that was aggrivated..
He is by far our next best centre after Toa and AD,most on here were praising his new found attitude at the start of the season and were bagging the crap out of Starford and wanted him gone...
Some keyboard warriors have absolutely no idea..

You beat me to it True Tiger,
At the start of the year many were saying Naden had changed his attitude and was going to be our saviour for our centre position this year.
Nothing has changed with his performances you have no idea how he is going to perform day by day.
To risky to have in the starting team but with our lack of depth at the moment we are stuck with him.

He had a great game in the all stars v maoris and i think 1 good game for us this season...he was poor last week while on and all thats left is his usual mega brain fart

This game won't be decided by Brent Naden's defence alone. Melbourne will try and kill you quick and make you chase the game.

If we start well like we have in most matches so far this season, we've got a chance. But if we are 12 points down after 25 minutes, we won't get a sniff.

Sharon came out with his NSW team today and didn't include Terrell May, suprise suprise.
You have to stop with your pro Wests Tigers bias and admit that Sharon is a football genius who played Rugby League at the highest levels while with us then left us to better himself and improve his game at 4*other clubs.

NOTE:
* all of which punted him for being a dud and in the process ruined his representative career.

Brian Fletcher said on SEN that Naden won’t play. They thought he’d done he’s PCL.

The only reason Staines played on weekend was that when Toa got injured Faatape had already been given leave to go to a funeral.

I’d say it’s a pretty high chance Faatape comes into lay centre.

Yep.

Naden has always been "about to break out" player but has never actually "broke out".

Sure, has some skills but had fallen short for too long.

The storm are unbackable favs atm. When was the last time we beat a team like this and they were a shoe in according to the bookies? I remember watching a game live in Melbourne maybe 2015/16? And we brought home the chocolates. Was a fun night.

I looked at backing the tigers with the line but I have no confidence in doing so after Melbourne lost to Canberra and need to bounce back
